New to the taco family

I recently moved to Texas, and after drinking the kool-aid for long enough, decided I needed a truck. I investigated other manufacturers and Tundra, but came to the conclusion that a new Tacoma was the way to go. I purchased a 2015 4WD TRD Sport about 3 weeks ago.

I have never had a new vehicle before, one which I cared about and was worth more than about $2000. I have also never had a vehicle worth investing in since they would never live more than a couple years after purchase.

My main purpose here is to:
A) Introduce myself (Hi!)
B) Gain knowledge about my new lady
C) Not F-up my sizable investment
D) Understand what modifications I should perform/get done

Thanks everyone. So, basic question... anything on the stock Tacoma that I need to replace/adjust immediately?

Enjoy it stock for a while and figure out the route you want to take it. If you just start buying stuff without a plan then you'll end up paying twice for stuff. The stock truck can do a lot.

Once you start lifting it and all that stuff mileage starts dropping. The more you add the more it drops. You'll notice the first time you get a good bit of weight in the bed that the back will drop a good bit but if you don't haul heavy stuff a lot don't go making the truck ride rougher the rest of the time unless you really need it.
