Check it for leaf spring TSB and reflash on tranny. Those were only issues on my 09 in 87k

IIRC, I read somewhere that you haven't had your Tacoma long. Did you get it at Oxmoor Toyota? If so, I might have looked at it back at the very end of November last fall.

Don't think so. Ordered mine in April and got it on June 17th. I wanted the JBL in BRM and had to order it

 

I may be attempting to organize some sort of TW get-to-gather in the Louisville/North Central Kentucky area later this fall. I'll give you a shout if it happens. May just be a "meet and greet and eat" sorta thing, but I'd like to represent the area a little bit. I see a lot of nice looking Taco's on the streets, so there may be some interest. Just don't know how many "locals" we have on here.

Like the others here, I had a 2009 DCLB Sport 4x4 with no problems in addition to the usual 2nd gen stuff, the radio (JBL) did get wierd a few times but always came back to life. Before I did anything about the radio the truck was totaled at around 85K. I had planned on driving it another 10 years.

I did, i got a 2008 4x4, tow, leather heated seats, and 60K less miles on it. and got it for a price i couldnt ignore.. The 2009 that the dealer had apparently was in really bad condition and they couldnt sell it due to bad rearend and 4x4 actuator.

Also you were my secret santa a couple of years ago and wanted to thank you again. I've used everything except the tire plug kit, and the EMT shears have been used numerous times during my clinical rotations.

I love doing the SS on here.. its amazing to see all the things people get and hear that they enjoy them! give me a second and ill go take some pics of everything.. ive been meaning to do that and make a new build thread... Still going to black most of the chrome out, but it will be a work in progress because with having a baby its hard to do stuff unless hes napping.. and Little man is so nosy he doesnt stay asleep long during the day..(sleeps almost all night long though so i cant really complain)
