So, after about 5 years, Ive decided on finally getting a new truck.

With all the hype around the 2016's (and as much as i would like one), Ive decided on purchasing a new 2015 in hopes of getting a better deal on the car. Ive been emailing a few dealerships back and forth, and its come down to this one dealership, and I was wondering if you can tell me if this is a good deal?

2015 Double Cab,automatic, 4X4 Tacoma, Magnetic Grey, TRD Off-Road (the package without nav):I was quoted $31,830. Plus I would get an additional $750 off with the grad student program they have.

I was trying to upload the spec sheet, but I can't figure out how to save the pictures off the pdf.

    But the truck has
    Entune Plus
Trd Off Road Extra Value Package
    V6 Tow Package
Carpet Door Mats and door Sill protector
    Exhaust Tip
Spare Tire Lock (which i don't need)
and Tube Steps (which i don't want and plan on having them take it off. I can use the extra $465 for some sliders)

    Total MSRP $34,649

With the college grad thing, the total before taxes would be roughly $31,000

Should I jump on this deal now or shop around for a little more? Thanks guys

These threads are a dime a dozen. There won't be any deals on 2015's, no reason for Toyota to discount them they are selling like crazy. End of story. Sounds like a good deal to me but maybe others may have other opinions...

Better jump on it while it's still there. Tacomas, even with a 10+ year old design, are flying off lots.

No problem. For the sake of clarity, I should advise that I did get a total of $1250 in rebates from Toyota (not the dealer) for military service and being a recent college graduate, so that helped my final number.

Ahh. Okay. Yeah, I qualify for the $750 college grad thing as well which is why I'm looking to purchase a truck soon. I think it expires the 8th.
Where are you from? Maybe that might have an effect on the pricing as well.

Phoenix. You have two years from your date of graduation for the college incentive. I don't think my location helped - my area had VERY few 4x4 trucks left; I think I just picked the right time of month and the right time of "the next model being released" to hammer on the dealer and get a solid deal.

That is a good deal. I got a COSTCO price of $31,623 and it just had the etune plus, tow package and the mats.

I would say that is a good price.

I just got a 2015 access cab, 4x4, V6, manual trans, TRD off-road for $30,100 + taxes etc. This was their first offer price and I took it without further haggling because a local dealer had the same configuration and would not come more than $500 off MSRP.

That's about what my local dealer sells them for as their "Best Price". They don't negotiate.

If you look someone posted a thread within the last day or two with pricing on the 2016. The 2016 trucks are priced several thousand more than 2015's. Therefore, prices on 15's won't be going down.

    We're talking $38,000 for 2016's now.

I just bought the exact same truck last week but it also had towing and entune plus, sticker was $32,165 and the best I could do was $31,165.

Mine has towing and entune as well. Like I said, most dealers with this configuration in a 300 mile radius were not prepared to negotiate much. If this had not worked out so well i would have forked out the extra money because inventory is vanishing and this configuration is not available in 2016.
