My wide axle made a huge difference and also went outboard on my shocks. Helps with the corners

Outboarding the shocks as far as possible really helps them work so much better the leverage ration changes drastically. Night and day difference

    Good Sunday Morning Amigos!

Today, Speed Freek is installing my new front Bilstein 5100's and I am having him set the lift at the first level up from stock (0.85"). It is recommended that ANY front lift be followed up with an alignment check/ adjust.

Fine, can I get any recommendations for a shop that knows Tacomas in San Marcos or Vista or close to either? I had a coupon from Toyota Carlsbad for an alignment for $85, but it expired last week!

    Thank you!

    $85 is ridiculous

I pay $50 at True Line in Santee for a true hand done alignment.

Up your way I have no clue where to go.

I've been having mine done at Evan's tire in Encinitas. They have other San Diego locations, as well, but I'm not sure if they're in San Marcos or Vista.
I think it was $70, but it's been a while.

I have a lifetime alignment pass from Evans. I think it was 140$

Go to Alignment Plus in San Marcos. I personally guarantee you won't regret it. Best guys I've ever met.

Id try to get a lifetime alignment somewhere. Evans is good but if you plan to move somewhere then your SOL. I have had good luck at Firestone.

Hi Guys! Well, for some reason I didn't get any alerts as to new posts in this thread (I get lots of alerts for other threads)... So, I am reading these replies Monday at 5:30 pm AFTER I made an appointment with Align-Tech in Escondido. The manager where I bought my tires says he has a Tacoma, and Align-Tech is the place to go. Free check... Tomorrow morning... Think I am okay with that?

I have taken my wife's car there a couple of times due to having a coupon and it is close to home. They have done a good job but always seem to find some other problem that they can fix...I only get the alignment done. I only take the truck to True Line in Santee. Like Matt said they do it by hand, they always get it right and it's 50 bucks.

True Line in Santee? OK, maybe if my Tacoma needs an alignment, and it is more than $70 in Escondido, I will drive to Santee? No more great places in North County???
