Congrats on the new grandbaby snoope.

Sorry about your truck Ken. Several threads on frame replacement and none quick. Most happy with the results.

    morning boys

Make sure you get actual quotes on time etc. Some my not reduce the times. Some things have to be taken off anyway. Every shop is different and stuff like this is all on the people doing the work and or the shop. Like I said they don't HAVE TO but most will.

Didn't go fishing lately. Last week was my long week and it rained all day on Sunday. I am going tomorrow for sure. I'm getting Rod Withdrawal. Going to have a early lunch and get the lawn mowed. Going to be hot but I have to wait for the lawn to dry from the dew last night. After the rain it grew like 3 inches overnight. I would go today too but I need this done.

    Hi ya Sue and Dave

Mike "Nailed" it with saying PATIENCE for a frame swap......

My 1st gen was made "easier" by my service writer ; he asked about those upgrades and 4 way shocks were purchased by me but no labor charged ;) and keeping your "Tech" well fed :) led to my E-brake and a few quirks easily dispatched..

Total time frame once the Taco hit the dealer was 16 days and that was covered by a FREE Prius for the entire time

Mike , the "Cats" are biting down here but the Sharks are staying out towards the Gulf :D

Morning All:wave:. :woot::woot:Pennsylvania's Redland Little League team is in the Little League World Series:woot::woot:. Should be a good game against Japan. I should get the Grandsons and drive up to Williamsport for the day, but the Tacoma is still at the dealership. They neglected to take care of the airbag light issue and after seeing the frame rust they didn't do any of the recalls:confused:. The service writer said things are moving faster and expect 4 to 6 months (then he said closer to 6 months) for the frame.
On a happier note, WHERE are the pictures of the new Grand baby Snoope:confused:. :D

:woot:A quiet woot for your beautiful Granddaughter(don't want to wake her up). Bet Grand Mom is walking on air being there to hold her Grand daughter. Grand kids are the best:D:thumbsup:.

Patience I have. Just as long as I have transportation while they are doing the frame I'm a happy man.

    Congrats Snoope!

Good info Mike. I doubt I will see the rust any time soon.

Clutch slipping? Nice to see you post Ken I thought you might be overworked with delivering vehicles.

Finally finished the garage today. It is very clean with a lot of work space for projects. Already have 3 projects lined up to work on this week.

Morning Tom, between driving for the dealer and supervising the work being done on the community clubhouse ( new roof, redoing the patio chimney, removing the old indoor pool heater chimney, repair of water leaks around windows, and erosion next to tennis courts) I'm almost as busy as you Tom. Fortunately, I do get a bit of a break to relax on the weekends when the missus doesn't have me honey doing it:oops:. Heard you had a good vacation. We go Sept. 19th to the Cayman for 2 weeks:D:thumbsup:. Got to get the traveling in now as the missus (who pays for vacations) is looking at retiring in May:confused:. She's still sitting on the fence with that decision. Time will tell.
    Morning all:wave:

The 380 would be a good one for sure. They are all lethal, just a mater of how much power do you want. I have the Ibex. As to cocking, get the cocking string and it cuts the required weight in half. 300 pound draw is 150 to cock with the string

    Afternoon all:
Rod withdrawal! I think I know the feeling Mike, getting to be fall walleye time.

How's the Pa little league team doing? Last time I saw something about them, I think they were really doing a number on Japan.

Peter: Just ordered the camo 380 package this afternoon with 6 extra Diablo bolts from Gander Mountain. 15% off and free shipping; just couldn't resist!
The cocking string comes with the package, but I may have to buy the crank because I'm old ---we'll see.

As well she should Sue, but With all the vacation trips she has paid for, I am spoiled:D. Just as long as she can pay her bills all is good.

Glad they missed you Cheech, hope there are no more heading your way.

A big Mahalo to you Ken!

When I got home today at 5, thermometer in the house read 100*. Never in my 25 years of living in this house have I seen this. Just another shitty day in Paradise!

On a positive note, fishing has been great this summer. Caught a 3 lb Papio on Sat. on a live Oama. Was ono! Translation for you mainlanders, Papio=Jack Trevally, Oama=juvenile goatfish.

I guess this weird weather has some benefit.

    Aloha.

That happens over here on the east coast too. When hurricanes are stirring in the Atlantic they tend to push moist, warm air our way. We end up with a case of the steaming muggies. I call it "hurricane weather".
