    Afternoon all,

I am located in WA, but willing to travel for the right vehicle.
Looking to buy a taco in excellent mechanical condition, with or without camping gear. I can build my own, don't need anything fancy really (http://www.desktodirtbag.com/pickup-truck-camping/)

I don't need super fancy off-road mods, in fact a stock 4x4 would do just fine.
#1 concern is the mechanical reliability, as come January I plan to use this rig to drive down from WA through central america, shipping it across the darien gap, and continuing all the way down to Patagonia in Chile. At least that's the plan.

    Ideal:
    - Access cab or smaller. I'd rather have a larger bed than a second row of seats I am not going to use.
    - 4x4
    - Manual transmission
    - Maintenance records & history of the vehicle

    Good to have:
    - White color. But I really don't care as much about this, just a bonus when out in the blistering sun.

If you have something that you think fits the bill, let's talk! =D

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Sounds like fun.

I know. Slowly making my way through them & trying to get an idea for fair prices but thought a shout-out here would not hurt! :)
Biggest problem with the forum is that it's hard to find rigs close to a specific location, WA in my case.
Willing to travel for the right one though.

    Thanks everyone!
I have a '96 Taco I am looking at, and comparing it to another really nice/clean 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara.

    Decisions, decisions...

You could always just remove the rear seats in a double cab. Lockable dry cargo area.

I'm afraid it's most likely going to be out of my budget, but, how much?

    Very true.
