I'd go with the gray. IMO, white often makes a truck look like a work truck.

I am debating that, too. But I think a blacked out grill, black rims and a lift will definitely make it look NOT like a work truck.

Alternatives are the sand or inferno. Need to see them in person first.

I was totally against the inferno, but it has really really grown on me.

Gray, white shows too much rail dust ( looks like rust spots)

    I don't own any truck anymore. :(

I still have the FJ40 (Green), but no more gen2 (supawhite) or toyota pickup.

Depends on how the truck is used, how it's cared for, garaged/not garaged and how long you plan on keeping it, as well as what you want it to look like later.

White is easier to touch up, match a repair, not fade, it's cooler, and it has no clear coat to fail. I plan on a 15-20 yr keeper, so I shopped for white for these reasons. I also don't care if others think it looks like a work truck (mine does, it's a base) In fact, that incognito look helps with the po-po visually scanning traffic and not attracting as much unwanted attention from unsavory types who like to pilfer stuff.

I wash it every so often, and keep it well waxed for protection.

Other colors look sharp, and can be more appealing than white. But to stay crisp for a long time, they pretty much have to be street trucks, garaged and pampered.

If I were to have an off road focused truck, I'd pick a non metallic, preferably non clearcoated color. Some shade of tan, while maybe boring, should work about as well as white.

I would own a white appliance vehicle too, or a nice sedan/CUV. Or even a sleeper street racer. Like a Falcon w/a Lincoln motor.

But never white in a sports car. They deserve to be flashier. :D

Go superwhite, but silver is the best at hiding scratches. Any dark color will show scratches very easily, including magnetic grey. I too got rid of my black taco for the same reason. will never get a dark color again.

MGM always looks good, clean or dirty, and doesn't show scratches easy in my experience. You can still murder out your truck (if your into that) without dealing with all the scratches that black will show.

I know there are more good looking colors or more appealing to.the eye but Im dead sold in silver sky,I leased a tacoma back in 07 on that color and owned a 2007 Tundra for 5 years on same silver color,I would like to see a different color vehicle in my driveway but I do not want to struggle on keeping the paint more than making the payments and payments are going to be enough, so I'm going with the 16 tacoma on silver, there in picture of my low maintenance tundra which I wash every 3 months because wontget dirty noticeable enough to bother me.
