Buckling radiator supports and fender wells due to heavy battery's and thin ass sheetmetal for body.

Why do you still have one? If it's so bad why wouldn't you just sell it and get something else?

Probably because all of that is minor and easily fixable compared to blown engines, malfunctioning SRS systems, bad PCM modules... etc etc.

As far as post facelift if go with 2013 as best for 12-15 years. First year where touchscreen was available without JBL I believe, retained nice mirror with temp as well as dash clock. But as someone said XM was taken out only to be put back in like 14 and 15s. Not such a big deal as I installed an XM module in my own.

I have no knowledge of 11s and below so that's why these threads always suck/pointless.

Did you change the tire size? If so that is why it is not accurate. Manual says tire determines location. Sounds weird to me.

Probably all just ones opinion but... 2012+ are by far better looking than earlier models both inside & out.
Personally I have a 2007 my gf has a 2010 both are access cabs.
I like my 07 more because...
    •It seems quieter inside.
•Less tinny when you shut the doors.
    •Weather stripping doesn't squeak like the 2010.
•Doesn't fricking beep at you when your seatbelt is off.
•Rear seats fold down to make a usable bench.
    Although...
*It does lack the backup camera (I had one installed when I threw a pioneer nav in).
*Also lacks side airbags that do come on the 2010.

Yeah the install isnt too bad, the harness and plug are already in place above the overheadconsole so you just need to mount the temp sensor out by the grille.

2015-Toyota saved the best for the last Gen 2.

I could be slightly biased though.

Just 2015s, as far I know. Not sure if it's a "benefit" to have two potentially mismatched clocks right next to each other though...

The best year for the Tacoma (regardless of which Generation) is the 2009 & preferably the Access cab. Besides the obvious reasons, the "09" is much more visually attractive, & (although many don't know this) is equipped with a somewhat more powerful engine, & is by far the fastest Tacoma ever made, & are sure to become the "collector car" of the future. jmop

2013, because the 14 and 15 they started cheaping out on the silliest things such as mirrors and clocks and even the TRD decal in the back on the 14s and 15s, it just has TRD and the older ones say TRD and in little words under TRD it says Toyota Racing Development. Little things like that to cut costs

No kidding, with all the negativity he has and constant bitching about Toyota not sure why people like him and BlueT even own a Toyota. There are many other options to be had. Like I always say if you have the means to purchase a Tacoma you have the means to get rid of it.
