Got some pics now that the exterior is "done."

I thought long and hard about blacking "everything" out; factory grill, rims and bumpers, plus changing my aluminum tool box to a black one. Then a black bull bar and black nerf tubes. It was going to be $$$$.

So I thought longer and harder and stuck with as much factory stuff as possible. To my stock MGM I have added Al tool box, SS wide oval tube steps, gloss black Nfab light bar, 2" ball hitch for my boat and the 4 Lightforces on the bar.

For now I think I am happy with it. I haven't put the airbags in the back yet, but those are more about maintaining the current rake as the springs age, and I got some interior work to do yet, but the next thing to do on the exterior will be upgrading the tires.

    Just throwing it out there.

This is my 11th or 12th Toyota truck since 1988. This one is a 2014 O/R 4x4 and is my first 4x4 in 15 years. I really love this truck so it is probably the last Tacoma I will buy. I'm sure his one will last many many years.

The supercharger was installed when I had about 800 miles on the truck. And then I added the lift and tires at about 1500 miles. It hasn't been re-geared.

I'm currently out of the country for a few days, but I'll try to get that ground clearance measurement when I get home, if I remember.

Just got the SCS SR8's installed Saturday and couldn't be happier. Before I swapped the wheels I cleaned her up and installed AVS Door Sill Protectors (which also look great).

Consider this a placeholder picture for the time being. I'm hoping to break out the DSLR and get some much better shots later in the week.

They are the "Predator Step Bars, 2014-2015" that come on the Tacoma XPS-X package. I got lucky and was able to snag them off of a friend's Tacoma who swapped them out for a different set of running boards.

The OEM Part Number is: 00016-35017 Accessory Code: TRPB20

Here's a link to the actual product: http://toyotaofmcdonoughparts.net/c...ota-tacoma-double-cab-predator-step-bars-2014

I've heard of people finding them for under $300 online, but not sure where. Just keep in mind that there was another version of the Predator Step Bars sold on the 2011-2013 Tacomas that were smaller tubing and gloss black instead of matte. They are very similar to the N-Fab Step Bars that can be more easily found online.

Thank you! Actually rocking just the stock Dunflop AT20's. Got a killer deal on mounting/balancing/swapping TPMS sensors over so I decided to go ahead and mount the new wheels instead of waiting for new rubber also. You'll love the SR8's. Pictures really don't do them justice.

Can't hate on getting a good deal! I'm curious... Would you mind side a picture down the side of your truck? I would like to see how far the stock tires stick out past the flares, if at all, on the SR8s.

Yep! I'd say they stick out around 1.5" past the fenders. I can put a tape measure on it later if you want to get a more accurate idea. They stick out further than the mudflaps.

Also I went from running stock PSI from the dealer to 35psi on all 4 corners. With the wider stance and higher PSI I noticed a much better steering response at high speeds with less lean in the hard turns. Only felt a very minimal difference in ride comfort. image.jpg
