Looks like the Limited is a better buy. Going to dealer tomorrow to run some numbers.

    TRD OR/Sport 2x4 (7148/7150) MSRP $30765
    $895 Destination
    $650 Towing
    $32310
    Premium JBL/Tech $3600
    $35910 Option TC $650 Mud flaps $100 Mats $299
    ADD $2965 for 4WD

    LIMITED 2X4 (7182) MSRP $34745
    $895 Destination
    $650 Towing
    $36290 ADD $3075 4x4
    Premium and Tech Standard plus
Leather seats, Chrome bits. 18" wheels

From these figures, it seems the Limited is the better buy for another $380!! Adds are leather, 18" wheels, Chrome bits, because the Limited has Premium and Tech standard.

I expect SET will add $299 in Mats and the towing package to MSRP.....

Premium/Tech may be priced at $3035 If so the difference is about $1000

Isn't the Limited only in DCSB? That would kill the deal for me.

the hickory leather in the limited was a deal killer. that interior was just too ugly for the warden.

For God's sake, can someone define these goofy acronyms for me? Anything past DCLB is Greek to me.

Software engineering uses a lot of acronyms esp. when we talk in a group. I'm used to it ;)

OHVLOPDAOGT'ing is a term we've been using in the Ohio Wheelin and Meetup Thread as a replacement for the term "overland".

Can you guess what it stands for?

Just an FYI but spending $3600 for the JBl system is bonkers, you could spend less than that at a custom auto sound shop and have 10x better equipment, sound quality and features.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have to get the prem tech for dual climate and heated seats. So what is that package running, not the jbl upgrade.

    DC - double cab
    AC - access cab
    OR - Off Rd
    Sport
    FTMFW - previously explained
HH / FP - Premium and Tech package - FP replaces HH adds JBL - these are the 4x4 options - these are from the dealer order codes for options and you will see others like FE - fifty states emissions (which is an option strangely that you must get) - TO is towing - there a lot of these codes for everything from exhaust tips to carpeted floor mats, etc
    SB - Short Bed
    LB - Long bed

    so in my profile

DCLB OR TO FP = Dbl Cab Long Bed Off-Road Towing Package, Premium and Technology with JBL

Correct you need to get premium and technology package to get those (or LTD) - you can get that w/o JBL - in theory - depends on how your dealer orders them and gets allocated them and if they are willing to get the allocated tucks changed - they can do that up to a certain point at which presumably the supply chain is in motion and I guess it becomes impossible to change a certain vehicle. Mine was allocated w/o premium and tech or JBL - my dealer got that changed - it took a phone call to Toyota b/c the system would not let her do it but it did get done. She was able to change color, add mats, sill protectors, towing and predator tube steps on her own. This was all within a couple of days of the allocation of the DCLB OR being given to her dealership. Not sure how long she had to make changes but she was able and willing.
