Sure. Just like every other one.

And actually, I stand corrected... it wasn't SR5 that made the distinction, it was 4x4. They ALL got the yellow shocks.

    http://mediapv4.toyota.ca.s3.amazonaws.com/media/pdf/11tacoma_e.pdf page 7

In any case, the following year, they did not. Point stands.

    Blind much?
Do I need to post a picture for you?

Says "2011 Tacoma 4x4 Specifications". Follow that down about half the page to the section that says "Suspension". Bottom line says "Front/Rear: Bilstein Shock Absorbers x x x x" <-- standard on ALL MODELS.

One can never have too many light bars.
I see where your talking about. It also says a little lower than that that all models are standard with the Dunlop 245/75/16 tires and the optional 265/70/16 BFGs are only available as an option on the v6 manual. So I would say that whole brochure is flawed.

Yeah, I'm sure you must be right. The original sales brochure is lying, because that wouldn't in a million years generate litigation when the products delivered didn't match the advertising.

Copy/paste error from the next page (4x2).
Anyhow, no point in arguing about this. Manual says one thing, observation of the product in reality backs it up. Case closed.

There's a statement below releasing Toyota from liability from any erroneous statements and it says for up to date information to visit a dealer.

I don't think you read fully. It applies to *4x4 only*. 2wd has the black shocks.
Also limit your reading into that manual to the year for which it applies.
So again; manual and reality are in agreement.

Do you actually have a point to make? Or are you just arguing to hear the little words in your head and make yourself feel bigger??

I'm really having a hard time understanding your objective here.

Asking which Tacoma year is best is like deciding between two sets of boobies. I for one think all boobies are special and worthwhile.

I could prove otherwise, but the picture I would have to post would definitely get me banned.

No worries. I found the website and posted it, BUT wouldn't have know to search for it if not for you mentioning it, so thank you.

    One more mod....

I am saying that (a) mine has it. (b) the sales brochure claims it. Would be kind of funny to "accidentally" get a feature that the sales brochure "accidentally" identifies as being correct, don't you think?

And to clarify, I'm NOT saying that all of them have it. I am saying what I can see.

Now if you want to claim that the sales brochure is lying, then the onus is on YOU to prove it, since that is contradicting all of the available proof. The fact that (a) holds true means that you have a considerable burden to overcome.

The sales brochure has been proven to lie as according to those for the 2014 Tacomas that says they come equipped with auto dim mirror with temperature and compass display, yet those trucks were the first year to have it pulled.

Not inciting an argument but the brochure is not law.
