No they're the Bolt on ones. But the weld on look the same just the mounting plate don't have holes for bolting.

Evan, truck looks awesome. Canopy looks sick and of course love the sliders. What springs did you end up going with? Looks like 887's? How you liking the ride?

Thanks bud! I went with 885's and added a 1/4" top plate spacer to get a full 3" lift.
The rear I got wheeler 3 leaf AAL kit and added my own 3/4" PS 1" DS blocks because of canopy sag. I wanted to keep my 1"-1-1/4" rake. I hate the ass sag look! :)

I love the ride! Especially with the canopy on it kinda balances out the truck weight wise. No mre light bouncy rear end. And i love the canopy function and look.
Got a killer deal on it from a guy on craigslist who just wanted to sell it asap.

    Awesome! Truck looks great john..
Yeah I got the Bed Bars done, and now Im doing Hi-Lift mount plates that utilize the bed rail. So that product will be up soon too.

Just ordered me Dakars. the AAL and blocks aren't cutting it. the extra weight of the canopy and tools etc. is too much for it and its pretty bouncy in the rear. And sags really easy.

    Hey Evan!

@Benson X pointed me in your direction. I like what I see!

I've got a '97 ExtCab and no access to welding without paying someone. Your web site says that only weld on is available at this time. Is that still the case?

I only go off-roading a couple times a year, and due to my step bars, I don't have a hi-lift mount point. I haven't needed one yet, but that doesn't mean I won't...

I'm going to start saving up for these as my next mod. I'm pretty close so it'd be local pickup in my pickup.

    Thanks!

Hi there, at this time I don't have a true bolt on for the 1st gen Tacoma's. But have been thinking of a design that might work well for the boxed frame. I hoping soon I can get a prototype made up and tested. Thanks for the support man, look forward to your future business.

Well, someone pointed me to a place they've had welding done. So...up to you (Vancouver?) to pick up sliders, then down to Woodburn to get them welded on. It's nice to be centrally located. :D

And hey...I'm willing to help out by driving up there for a test fitting so you can get your design worked out. I won't even charge you much. ;)

What's your opinion of welded vs. bolted in regards to strength? Somehow I suspect bolted won't hold up as well...?

I think the problem that ive had before with bolt on's for 1st gens. If its a true bolt on. Theres only like 3 spots you can do a wrap around U shape mounting plates.
Im thinking about designing. A weld on and bolt on. The mounting plates will weld onto the frame and then the legs will be sleeved and bolted through the tubing legs. Hope that makes sence. And im hoping they will be strong enough to hold the weight of the truck.

I sent you an e-mail through your website about a set of standard rails for a 2015 DCSB. Guess I could've just gotten a hold of you on here. I just had a question about picking up a set of sliders versus having them shipped since I live in Oregon City.

For all you local guys, I just finished a Pack Rack for a guy out in bend. It was a fun project, something different. And I think it turned out awesome. I tried to make the bends fallow the Trucks lines.

I'm just waiting for my bonus in a couple weeks so I can figure out what kind of cash I have for new toys...like sliders.

Would you want me to cruise up there for measurements or anything when the time comes pre-fab?

cool. yeah I would need to measure for the mounting plates. But I only have a weld on version for the 1st gen at this time.
Let me know when your ready man..
