I do appreciate the support as well! I got another 3 1/2 years to go if I dont do Pallace chase and get out early. I need to get some schooling done first before I do that lol. Goin towards a welding degree type thing and then once I really get all my debt and truck paid off HOPEFULLY in the next 2 years I can try to get out early if I got money saved up to live on my own for a bit haha

Have a place to wrench? I think this place is a no go since the parentals will be back soon, and axles and steering racks can be messy.

In fact I have to do a brake job myself. Stainless lines, DOT 4, and speed bleeders just came in.

we can do it at my place if you want, gonna have to get you a pass to get on base for the day. Only problem with my place is my driveway is not flat, so we can only do one at a time in the carport or on the asphalt just across from my place. gonna need mats though...ants are nuts lol. Ill spray for them the day prior and hope they go away in time. Doesnt matter how much I spray...they keep coming back

Why don't you use the hobby shop? I used to use the hell out of those places while I was in.

because you have to pay...lol, thats the main reason, but if you want...we can, Eglins hobbby shop is closed Sun/Mon, so saturday is the only real option here. nice thing is...its first come, first serve, so we have to get there before they open so we can get either the open stalls or ones with lifts to get stuff done. Hurlburts is SO much better, but they are undergoing revamping right now so they have limited stalls to use

Just googling, it says Hurlburt's shop is 24-7. Anyway you could verify that?

yup, they are Tues-Sun and closed mondays. im not sure how the pass thing works for other bases. but I think Eglins will be easier as Im technically stationed here, not Hurlburt Field lol, so itll be easier to get ya on here. So if you want to use the shop, we'll have to get there before they open to snag the stalls with lifts

I don't need the hobby shop. For you though, a lift would be so much easier to replace a rack. I think I might do the lines and flush here, but I'll be out on the street.

I don't think it matters which one we do, if BadBrains isn't doing any work, we can just take one vehicle on base and leave the other Parked somewhere else. Plus hurby is still under construction last time I was there. Not sure if they are finished yet or not

Awh that sucks lol, well, you'll have her back soon enough lol. And we'll be able to get some meets planned out and have some fun. After I get my steering rack replaced and fenders mounted I'll be good to go again on the wheeling
