See my link above, showing it fits the Czech VZ-58 assault rifle.

"The 7.62 mm. Czech VZ–58 assault rifle (7,62 mm samopal vzor 58) is a refinement of the Kalashnikov AK47 design. The VZ–58 was made from 1959–1984 by Česká Zbrojovka a. s. of Uherský Brod, Czechoslovakia. The VZ-58 is still a standard infantry weapon in the Army of the Czech Republic, used by troops serving in Afghanistan."

Funny thing is this thing had NO edge on it whatsoever. Took me well over an hour with a rough file just to get it down to where it was remotely sharp. Oh, she sharp now though! :D

Why does it look like the cutting edge has a V profile?

Blade is just under 2 inches, and the one on the way has a smooth blade.

    "Blood grooves" are nonsense, IIRC.

It just looks like the it has developed a recurve near the bottom 1/3 blade length. Or is it me? Looks like it was pinched. Or over sharpened there. Or damaged there and then ground out like a blade got chipped.

Or maybe it's just the picture.

    Or maybe..

The sharpened part of the blade ends about 3/4 inch from the handle.

No no no. Wish I had an app so I could circle the area that looks pinched.

It's about 1/3 of the blade length away from the handle. There is a black dot on the table that may or may not look like a cock right next to the spot I'm talking about.

    Not on the blade.

On the table. It also looks like a P.

Like I said, It had absolutely no edge on it. I sharpened it with a coarse the a fine file so It's not perfect. The amount of metal I shaved off just to get an edge was ridiculous.

Love everyone's knives. Just curious what people use to keep them sharp.
