    Near Dallas
I've got a hold deposit on a Limited, MGM, with towing package.
Final quoted price is 36,200. Sticker is 37,199.
Still waiting to hear the build and/or delivery date to the Dallas area.

The leather and fender flare painting are getting done by a local company. It was $1700 for leather and $658 for the fender flare painting. Very retarded that toyota doesnt offer them painted from the factory.

Finally got my pricing info from my dealer. I'm getting a DCSB OR AT MGM with navigation, JBL stereo, sun roof, and towing package. MSRP $37,789. Their discounting it $500 for starters, then I'm also getting a $500 military discount. So $1,000 below MSRP. And build datehas moved up from 7 Sep to 3 Sep. I have no complaints

This is the exact same configuration that I put a deposit on today, but the dealer didn't have any pricing available. Do you have a build sheet that you could post?

Did you consider just ordering the black SR/limited grill? Are you going to plastic dip it yourself? I'm try to decide this myself, as I hate the chrome. I wish they had a trd pro grill to buy (love the old school Toyota look), I can only hope for an after market reproduction.

The main problem is getting the parts in the next 2 weeks. The SR5 grilles are all getting mounted on trucks right now and they are supposedly not available for order. After you order the grille and they install it it costs more than the $400 it costs to plastidip it. If I dont like it I am gonna put in an order for the SR Grille.

I also ordered a TRD Sport hood with the hood scoop. Probably wont arrive for 2 months and has to be painted and installed upon arrival. Total for the hood painted and installed was $1150. If Im gonna drive this for the next 10 years Im damn well gonna get what I want.

I prefer this to people who buy the Sport because of the emblems on the rear of the bed... Everyone on the freeway LOOK IT'S TRD

You might give thought to waiting a couple of months until there are some running around. Someone might do a straight hood swap with you then. There are probably going to be a bunch of people that like the plain hood but get the Sport and might swap with you. just a thought - wouldn't let it go forever for paint fade but 3 months down the road and I bet you can do that.

[edit - I got the OR and one part of the reason was I do not care for the scoop but would have bought a sport if no one could get me DCLB OR - and if so I would have swapped the hood no problem if they were the same factory color w/o damage - but I've got my DCLB OR w/o scoop allocated]

[edit 2 - the scoop might grow on me once this version is in the wild - if someone gets a Blue Sport and want to swap hoods in 6 months PM me to see if I changed my mind - weirder things have happened]

[edit 3 - aw hell - someone who actually wants a different hood ought 2 start a G3 Hood Swap thread - there are enough opinions on that scoop both directions it will probably be an active thread for years]

I saw the invoice prices and Msrp on the screen of the direct sales managers computer as I ordered the same truck. With destination the Msrp is $36,648 and the invoice price was $33,800, so there is a $2,848 difference from invoice to Msrp. $750 was added to the invoice price for an agreed upon price of $34,550 thus a savings of $2,098 off of Msrp.

Those #'s are very in line with others including myself that are getting invoice based pricing instead of MSRP based pricing - about 2% better so it might be invoice less holdback that you are seeing which is sweet. If I recall mine is about 6% less than invoice and a couple others we've seen are about the same as that depending on options.

Thanks....I agree but I know why they did that. They are what would likely get scraped first on the trail. I was going to get the 2WD OR for the rear locker but those fenders look unfinished.

You mention trail use and then say you are getting 2 wheel OR. Which is it?
