What amp are you planning on running? Need RMS power per channel and OHMS it supports.
Are you looking for DJ speakers or Marine boat speakers? (will they get wet?)
Do you need speakers to be in a box or are they going to mount in the panels somewhere?

Hey what do you guys think of level 8 wheels?? Good or bad? I really would like FN wheels but those are just to pricy for me.

i have no clue on the amp, i haven't bought anything yet.
i am looking for DJ speakers. they are going to go on the boat, but mounted up high and way back on the boat so there should be no issues with it getting wet.
i am wanting speakers in a box. i could not find any pictures of an example on google.... but i have seen a few in person that are set up sweet

 

No problem. I'd start here to get ideas of what it will cost. I'd still suggest marine speakers, if you get a paper cone speaker and water touches it then you'll be pissed.

Pioneer or Alpine, with whatever features you want that fall into your budget.

The Apple solution is way too expensive.

 

Touch Screen, would be nice to see the back up camera through the HU, HD radio, should connect to my phone to play MP3s, don't care about CDs or NAVI . . .

 

Pioneer Avic series or the Higher end Alpine.

Really its all about how much you are willing to spend. We can sit down and talk it over sometime if you like? I LOVE talking audio.

That Pioneer looks good, Don't care for NAV but I'm really wanting a good solid trouble free HU, I'm all about easy to use that works when I need it to . . .

 

I dont think it needs to be an AVIC series, right Cobster?

AVIC has the NAV and BS. My AVH is what he's lookin for I think.

HD radio, back up camera input available, Ipod navigation, etc.. and no NAV
