The single cup holder behind the shifter in my 2005. If you are going to have a tiny cupholder that holds only cans (who drinks out of cans anymore?) at least squeeze two of them in there. Either that or make the single one bigger to facilitate my 20 oz Diet Dr Pepper. Thats my $0.02.

I have 3 cupholders behind my shifter. And I have a Monster energy drink with me every day, so that can holder works great for me.

I've got a single (can) holder behind my shifter. I've also got two (adjustable) holders in front of my shifter... and 1 litre bottle holders in the door.

I have enough room to hydrate my entire family. :p

Yeah I know...waaa waaa waaaa!!! I'm just saying if you are going to put a cup holder there, make it useful. I'm 6'1 and drive with my seat all the way back, so the cupholders at the front of the shifter are just far enough away to tease my outstretched hand. Ive found the ones in the door work best if the door is open, and the ones behind the center console are a bitch to get to (bum shoulder). Obviously, I'm not going to trade in my sweet-ass ride because the people at Toyota cant make a functional cupholder so I'll cope. I was just seeing if I was the only one this irritated. It makes a good spitcup holder though. The little SOLO cups fit in there just right. :)

Of all the complaints I have with my truck, I think the cup/bottle holders may be one of my favorite features.
