Red cone sounds pretty sweet but I don't want any body damage. I'll have to wait to experience that one until I get a lift and some armor.

I ran Red Cone for the first time about a month ago. A nice headcut has formed on the end of there trail where you start the descend via switchback. That was probably the only scary part of the trail, in my opinion. Gets a little heady when you watch your tire dip into an eroded out trail with a near vertical drop out your drivers side window.

So you were actually on Webster Pass coming back down toward 285?

I'm not too familiar with the area, but we never did Webster Pass. The spot I'm describing is just after the last steep descend of Red Cone where it opens up. You can turn right to continue on to Webster Pass (i think?) or you can turn left and keep going down a small segment of switchback to exit the trail.

The Redcone trail ends at the top of Webster pass.

If you took a left and went back out to 285, you went down Webster.

So I have no armor, no sliders, no winch, no bumpers, and no balls. Should I hold off on Red Cone?

    YES!

After sloppy tire placement yesterday on red cone I'm considering full aftermarket skids underneath.

I'm doing redcone on my bike later this month with a bunch of other guys. Could be interesting and I think we might be doing it at night.

Full moon right now, don't wait too long. A night run would be spectacular on a clear night.
