So I went to debadge and put on some vinyl badges today. I knew the previous owner had it painted by the lowest bidder, there was runoff on the tops of all the badges. When I took them off the paint that ran over the badges chipped and there were scratches everywhere. What's the recommended course of action here? Got one of those tiny duplicolor brush/pen deals and tried to see what it'd do over the "prerunner" section, no luck. Sand those areas down and try duplicolor spray + clear coat or take it to a shop? I'm not a crazy perfectionist but I don't want a shitty job.
