Maxtrac Spindle Lift for 2nd Gen Prerunners

In addition to clearance, I'm a bit over the rock chips as well I must add.

Thank you Mike! Do you feel you have atleast a solid 1/2'' from the wheel to spindle? I'm looking at a set of 18x9 wheels, but in a zero, or actually fuel says "1" offset. So I'd say the lesser 12mm than yours is just under 1/2'' to the spindle/mounting point.

Yeah I'd say at least a 1/2", like I said I can slide my hand in there.
Oh & my tires are 12.50 if that matters.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I really don't want to search this whole thread for the answer.

I have the maxtracs with icon remote resi extended travels with king 700 lb springs up front. Currently have stock leafs with 1.5 aal and 1.5 block and the rear is sitting much lower. Will be upgrading to all pro expos in a couple weeks from a local members truck. Also planning on getting the shackle flip kit which adds 3/4" lift according to armortech. Will I still need the 1.5 block to help with leveling?

And how long of extended brake lines are you all running for the rear 22"?

This is my whole plan for redoing the rear:
Allpro expos
Shackle flip kit
U bolt flip kit with timberns (or whatever they are called/spellled)
Extended brake lines

How much lift do you have up front now? I know you had to lower the coilovers a bit.
Don't know if this helps but my front is Maxtracs with Billies set at 1.75 & the Toytec 1/4" spacer which gives about 1/2" of lift, so total about 6.25"
For my rear I have expos & 1.5" blocks for a total of 5.5", it sits pretty level & measures 27" from hub to fender. Which probably don't help since you have glass up front. Haha
Don't know if you checked it out at the Tamlando meet.
If I can get any other measurements for ya let me know.

 

Hard to tell with the front thanks to the glass. But I'm guessing 7" now. I can measure the rear, but wouldn't be accurate to you guys who have your flares on still. How long of u bolts did you order for the expos with the 1.5 blocks? Did you do the u bolt flip?

 

I dont have the flip kit & I reused the u bolts from my first lift which had 2" blocks, I don't know how long the we're but they were plenty long enough & I had to cut them.

 

Ok. Could you measure the expos at the axle for me so I know how tall they are and can combine that number with the 1.5 blocks?

 

You mean just the leaf pack or do you want me to measure the leaf pack & the 1.5" block?

 

Either way. Whichever is easier for you I guess. I'd definitely appreciate it.

 

Ok from the spring perch it's right at 4.5" with the block.

And just the leaf pack is 2 7/8"

Which bump stops are you running? Not sure I need to do the u bolt flip kit.

Just the factory bumps, I don't wheel as much as you so I can't justify the purchase. Haha
I like the flip kits, it cleans up the bottom of the housing but on reality you still have the shock mounts hanging down to get caught on stuff

 

The main hold up for me, even though I do what I do, the main purpose of the u bolt flip kit is for ground clearance over rocks and such. I jump as much and climb as much as possible, but don't "crawl" over any rocks. I've yet to hurt my current u bolts. Might just look into upgrading my bump stops then. Anyone have a good recommendation for upgraded bump stops that still utilize factory mounting?

 

Try superbumps from wheelers. Not to pricy and work well.

 

That's what spruce said in our local thread. That or daystars that bolt to the frame.

 

those pyramid style bumpstops that spruce linked in the FL thread jason are pretty awesome, just gotta drill a hole in the strike plate and bolt in and good to go. I love them, they are pretty sweet
