Got these trim pieces all painted up. Just waiting on them to dry before throwing some clear coat on them! Very easy to do. 02cef713bb4589c09497844d942cc1b8_2735e4031c95d37832e8213b57b4770248b6ea4c.jpg

@b.prall It's a Safari Snorkel and you can get them from Kurt (@cruiseroutfit) from Cruiser Outfitters. It is made for the Hilux but can be modified to work on the tacoma.

Thanks. As for the fitment, it gave me minor issues. I used a 1/4" wheel spacer only to clear the caliper. The rim measures 16x8 -11 offset. I did trim the front bumper right at the lead edge of the tire when the steering is turned. The rears were completely fine.

Is there any decent aftermarket antenna out there, or should I just go with an OEM replacment?

Had the spark knock TSB done today at the dealership along with an oil change. TSB worked because I don't hear that horrendous sound!

    Technical Service Bulletin

Pretty much something that can be fixed by Toyota for free but it isn't as urgent as a recall. You print out the TSB and bring it into the dealer and they should perform the fix if needed.

Technical service bulletin, or occasionally called "silent recalls"
When a car maker finds several issues in a vehicle, they will often issue a TSB to the dealerships. These will advise of the issue and how to repair it.
Often, these are free to the customer and performed during routine maintenance or on demand. If it's a safety issue, the NHTSA often gets involved and then it becomes a recall. Those are expensive, because the carmaker has to notify everyone and encourage them to come in. It's also bad publicity.
