Spacer/block lift or full suspension?

    3in lift (Bilstein 5100, AAL), Bull Bar with halogen Hella Fogs and High Beams
    In short spacers are cheap and suspension is expensive. I've also heard some bad things about spacers. What's the truth?

    U can get spacers that go above the coil assembly, they don't perload the coil. Just another option for ya...

    I have coil spacers and although it looks nice the ride with preloaded stock springs is pretty harsh... I'll be getting a full suspension in the near future

    Yup. il never recommend anybody with a strut spacer lift as theyl cost you more in the long run. Its not that rear lift blocks are that bad but the leafs springs on these trucks are prone to axle wrap and adding blocks makes it worse.

    Yup I can't WAIT to get rid of my spacer/block lift. Has been on since I bought it three years ago and I can't take it anymore. Lol. Just been a struggle to save up for what I need. Everything needs replaced. My leafs are worn. Axle wrap is bad. Rear shock is shot. Think they're oem. Ha. fronts are going too. Clunking pretty bad. Think ima go ome with some new leafs and shackles. Gonna be a world of difference I bet.

    I should add though. when I hit a bump that lifts my front end off the ground, the upper end of the stock knuckle at the ball joint will hit the spring and pluck it like a guitar string. sounds bad but hasn't done any damage. I'm sure a full suspension lift would get rid of this, but I don't plan to go that hard with my truck.

    I never said it was a problem for me, nor has it ever been a problem. Just a little scary when I first heard it :)

    3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
    Had 2.5" poly spacers, Rode fine. Got 3" billet spacers that you have to compress the coils to put in. And that was literally the worst decision I've ever made. Idk how I havent blown the struts or fenders off my truck yet*knock on wood*

    Lol, yeah that extra half inch wasn't worh it to get rid of the top plate spacers hu??

    Can't wait to replace the spacers that came with the truck. The only problem I've had with them so far, is clunking.
    But other than that, no problems.... Yet....

    One question I have regarding my setup, is I'm wondering if I'm still gonna need to put in some kinda spacer with an ome lift to retain my current lift so I can still clear my 33's..Idk how much lift I have now. Probly 2.5"/3". I'm not even sure what's on the front end of my truck right now. I think there's poly spacers AND a top spacer. Does that sound right? I'll have to take a pic..

    I'm on 33's right now with zero lift.....I don't have a stock front bumper though..only rubs on the passenger side at full lock when it flexes...I don't think my truck is normal though...everybody says that this is impossible.
