So.. What do you guys listen to when you workout?

 

I've been thinking about asking that too recently. I need to change it up, mine is getting stale...

I've got a few bands/albums loaded on my phone but they get so repetitive. Lately I've been listening to Goo Goo Dolls radio on Amazon Prime Music but that's just because I grew up in the 90s and that music is my jam.

Explosions in the Sky is a good go to. If I need an extra kick I put on some EDM with either Seven Lions or Tritonal.

If I'm doing cardio I'll listen to John Butler Trio or Matisyahu. Rebelution is a good one too. I need to put them back on my phone again.

 

Pandora: Wiz Khalifa radio, Young Jeezy radio, Eminem radio, & 2 Chains radio. I'm not a big fan or rap unless partying or lifting weights.

Dude, I love Explosions in the Sky and The John Butler Trio. I don't see how you workout to it, though; that's my study music. I have to study about 40 hrs a week in law school and I'm almost always listening to Explosions in the Sky radio on Pandora; it's the most relaxing shit in the world. Check out This Will Destroy You and The Album Leaf; they're both really great relaxation bands.

 

Usually Metalcore...many different bands.

Haha yeah that's what my buddies say too. I even listen to the score from Intersteller (Han Zimmer) sometimes. Somehow that stuff just gets me pumped. Everyone else says its puts them to sleep. I've listened to The Album Leaf before, I'll look up the other one

John Butler Trio live at Red Rocks is the best. I can listen to that whole concert all day and never get tired of it. I think I've watched it a few times on YouTube all the way through too. So good
