Are the coilovers perassembled?

How are you fixed for facilities? Do you have a decent compressor? Floor jack? Jackstands? A nice shady spot on the driveway to work in?

 

not super sure yet, but i can be down to lend a hand on the 19th?

 

I can't work on any vehicle at the place I live at its deed restricted but I got a jack stands and a floor jack

Well, in that case, mi carport es tu carport. I have a compressor (and air tools), jacks, and jackstands. It's a bit of a drive for you (North Tampa), especially if we can't get it knocked out the same day, but unless Spruce volunteers his driveway again, it's the best I can do.

 

yea i can't work on vehicles at my place either, i gotta drive down to the park to change my oil

 

Schist, you guys need to avoid these deed-restricted developments and get a place that you can do whatever the f#%k you want on your own property. Deed restrictions are definitely a deal breaker for me, especially since I can't afford to take my shite in to have someone else work on it.

Haha. I have hoa but I'll be damed if I can't work on my truck. I was out welding a trailer together when the management drove by. I just did my winch bumper. My neighbors are cool though. I don't work past 830 unless I have to on a week night. Weekends are when I wanna close up

 

Yeah, as of last year, we now have an HOA. But given we've lived here for close to 30 years before any HOA, they can kiss my backside if they want to start telling me I can't work on my vehicles or do woodworking projects or whatever. So far they haven't made themselves known so it's all good.

 

No issues with my HOA and I can work on my vehicle in my driveway etc. One advantage of living in a place with an HOA is it forces people to take care of their places and not let it go to crap bringing the neighborhood down.

 

That's what city ordinances are for. The major problem with an HOA is it makes you're neighbors feel entitled to be all up in ya binness, giving the neighborhood busybodies more excuses than they need to be a nuisance. My neighborhood was perfectly fine for the nearly 30 years we've lived here with no HOA. Nothing has changed for the better since the HOA was voted in.

That said, it seems like a deed-restricted community is a little more extreme than an HOA. I've heard of DRCs dictating what colors you could paint your house, what kind of grass you can have, and what sort of landscaping you can have. That sort of crap doesn't sit right with me. It flies in the face of the freedom America was founded on. But then again, you are kind of agreeing to it when you buy property in such a development so I guess it's not as if they are forcing it down your throat. Still just bugs me.

I don't mind offering my driveway but the weekend of the 19th I'll be outta town. Hunting seasons coming up, gotta go the the property & get ready.
And at the present time I'm knee deep in remodeling one of our bathrooms, just started yesterday so it will be the rest of this weekend & next probably. Momma says it has to be done before hunting starts. Haha

In theory yes. You're just as experienced with the spring compressor as I am.
