What is the advantage of this? Different color? Softer? More padding?

Oil Catch Can, OIl Pressure and Temp Gauges, Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R16

Installed oil pressure and temp gauges. The gauges are from the Autometer custom shop and were the best I could do to get them to match the factory gauges. Gauges were tied in using a Glowshift sandwich plate. I've used their plates before and haven't had any issues with them so far and this one is much easier to keep an eye on too.

I had meant to use a tapped drain plug for temp, but the sender body was larger than the hole in the plug and boring it out looked like it may weaken things.

The mount is the Cravenspeed Flexpod.

OK...."Today" is now yesterday since today was yesterdays tomorrow....(Yes, I broke out the Angels Envy bourbon for a sampling)

Anyway...I guess all the waffling over what size and brand of tire I'll be putting on the truck is now officially OVER! Pulled the trigger on 4 GoodYear Duratracs yesterday. I did what it takes to adequately clear 285/75/r16's, then BOUGHT 265/75/r16's. You couldn't make a tire rub if your life depended on it now. Te wife and I went "visit'n" family last night. That led to a 45 mile round trip 75mph interstate hwy test run. No vibrations, no ill handling, no issues. Today will see a bit of an off road test. More accurately, a drive through 7+ miles of poorly maintained fire road. Not really a test, but dirt at least. And a chance to get a few good PICTURES!

Nice place and new ride! Your truck provided much of the inspiration for the modifications on my truck. Thank you, see you in future forums.

Made myself a little bracket for my cb antenna. The red wire is a ground for the rail for the futur bed lights that I will put on the rail too. Don't know yet if the wire is big enough.

Looks good! I'd definitely make that wire bigger though.

    Yes.
I'd recommend using 1/4" (or larger) braid for ground straps.
Also, be kind, and don't use "red" shielded wire for ground please. :)

    example braided ground strap: http://www.amazon.com/Allstar-Perfo...41464947&sr=1-2&keywords=copper+ground+straps

Lifted mine yesterday (toytec leveling with an AAL) and now needle bearing paranoia is setting in. I don't rock crawl, or mud. I surf fish, so I'm doing a diff drop today. Hope I don't have issues.

There's the new tsb to replace the needle bearing with an updated one. Supposed to take care of the noise. Of course it's released after I install the ecgs bushing.

It's not making any noise yet, and there is no chance for them to do the tab lifted. Luckily the ECGB looks pretty straight forward to install.

Took off the Undercover Hardtop. I think it looks more like a truck even though the cover does come in handyIMG_20150905_151012.jpg
I think I also settled on a Nickname for her...Ducktape because of the color.
