Confused what does that clip onto?
I mean how you add this to the airline side?

The airline side? It has standard threads. Screw it onto any hose or use a quick connect.

The only clipping is onto a valve stem. Which it does better than any other chuck I've used.

Is it free flowing when disconnected or does it build line pressure?

Badass! That looks plenty burly. Did you end up going bronze bushings?

Yep. Cut off the bearing housing, and then welded on 3" of 2" OD .25 wall DOM. Then pressed in these bushings:

It's really not all that stiff to operate and I like that it stops where I want it.

James mentioned on Sunday we may have hit 1,000 miles on dirt this season. So I was curious and did some math. We kept track of the bigger trips, small day trips added up from Charles Wells Books and Trail Damage and are approximated.

    • Hurrah Pass - Chicken Corners - Lockhart Basin/Canyon - Elephant Hill - Devil's Lane - Beef Basin = 175 miles
    • Rest of Moab: Hells - Fins - Strike Ravine - Metal Masher/Gemini Bridges - Poison Spider - Steel Bender - Backwards Bill: ~80 miles
    • Alpine Loop and more: 200 miles
    • Red Cone - Radical Hill - Swan - SOB -Georgia: ~ 30 miles
    • Tomichi - Hancock - Tin Cup - Taylor - Pearl - Italian/Reno - Cottonwood: 200 miles
    • Little stuff along the way. Yankee Hill - Red Elephant Hill/Wolford Mountain - Beaver Creek/Little Muddy - Farwell Mountain x2 - Secret Steamboat Trail x3 - Ellis Jeep Trail: ~ 175
I would say these are quite conservative figures, and I'm sure I'm missing several small trips, but I got 860 miles. Looks like one more big trip is in order James....

    Trade you for a 2UZ.

And you probably wouldn't want it anyways, hit a quarter-million miles yesterday:

Was hoping to hit that milestone offroad, which I kind of made. Hit it right here, on a FS road on the way to some better wheeling and great grouse hunting:

Nope. Not after making it up the far left line....

Is what I said when I was up there. Should've given it a go, but that shit makes me nervous.

Also, do you know how to make a trip report anymore?

Oh, and if you want to pull out your best flannel and play lumberjack, Friday afternoon or Saturday works.

Yeah, we'll make a weekday afternoon work. Weekends for me coming up are all busy.

Also, in case anyone was wondering what happened to my fogs, both mounts on my @allpro bumper did this at the same time! Those mounts need beefing up!

At least it's an easy fix, after the bumper is dropped.....

Good excuse to repaint it at the same time at least, just going to stick with my tried and true bed liner this time.
