I know what you mean, its tedious. Feels good after though, even if a couple times down my road itll be a dusty critter again. I spent a good while working out stripes. I always end up in tight spots...

Can I use a pic of yours to send to my grandpa to use as an example to put on a t-shirt?

Thanks! Definitely check out Prinsu. Couldn't be happier with mine. They are completely customizable for your needs. Plus @zscott has great customer service, he will take care of you.

Many manufacturers make reinforced shells. It's a little more costly but it may provide the security you're looking for. Mine is not reinforced. My tent is 150+ and I sleep 2 up with gear and awning up as well. However I have probably 8 cross bars to disperse the weight of the tent. I use the hell out of my setup and no issues so far. I know homertaco runs a similar setup with 0 issues as well.

Didn't come off that way at all! Just providing my experience. I wouldn't tell you not to get a reinforced cap. But if you don't, it can still work baring you distribute the weight effectively, etc. At least it did for me.

    So far. ;)

Sometimes I like to pretend I crawl rocks. Seriously though, I need more flex.
