hey guys i know its a little late in the year to be planning a glamis trip but i know a few people are already going to be out there

THE 4TH ANNUAL GLAMIS T.W. TRIP
DATES : OCTOBER 30, 31 and november 1st. Halloween weekend!
camping spot is to be determined.

Disclaimer: Halloween weekend is one of the busy weekends at glamis. you will have to be VERY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.

With that being said i ventured out to glamis last thanksgiving and thats also a huge weekend. it was not too horribly crowded and was a BLAST!!
Camp spot is still to be determined.
Last year we had a decent turn out and i hope we have an even bigger turnout this time around!!!

I've never been to glamis and scared to death I'll roll my truck or just sink up to my doors. Any of the guy's doing sand toys? I rather just beast mode the dirt bike.

Same here, I would be more keen on putting around some trails and going out to olds and the drags with the truck but spending the majority of the time on my bike

you will be perfectly fine man, you can only get stuck if you stop a certain way. always make sure your facing downhill in sand.

i personally love trucks in glamis. most of us dont dune our trucks. there is only juan crazy guy i know that does, but he litterally grew up in the sand

you won't roll it if you have common sense :) momentum is your friend.
very likely you will get very stuck. but nothing a 4wd and a tow strap won't fix ;)
ill have my SR1 rhino, and my whole camp has sand toys.

we camp on wash 4 in the back near the dunes.

I'll be out there creeping around behind you guys as my mid travel can't hang but I'm 4x with a strap so you guys are good. Last years I pulled out a few people without at issue. I'll play tow truck in exchange for beer lol

Awesome I'll stay off the dunes on the truck and use the dirt bike for that. I'm excited. I've never been to glamis. Gotta see what the hype is all about.

I wonder how it'll be this year, last year I woke up early at sunrise and drove down along gecko for a while and it was nice. Nobody else was up yet, this year with it being on Halloween I'm not sure what to expect

I went halloween a couple years ago and it was pretty busy but thats half the fun. Being out at the hill with a ton of people is a good time you just have to be way more alert. We went easter this year too and it was dead, pretty much had sand highway and freeway hill completely to ourselves but it was hotter than shit.
