Tint is a non-moving violation if Fla. but it's a primary stop. Anything in NY is a primary stop. Lol. I get pulled over occasionally when I visit my folks but fortunately I've received some professional courtesy.

Just tried to buy an 05 tl off a guy in ri. He was at 4800, I had 4500 on me. He wouldn't budge because he has a guy willing to buy it for 5 if he can get the money together. Take the bird in hand!

 

Offer him $4200 when he calls you back.

 

I know right. I found an mdx for less with a new tranny. Might just do that instead

 

What year MDX? They are notorious for burning through transmissions! Almost all the newer Hondas are

 

Haha that's why I was looking at one that had a new one already. I'm trying to get something for a couple grand that's better on my back. Got the civic sold to a friend

 

Yeah that is who my buddy just used and it was 50 a window. He also had him out to his house to do some skylights.

 

Highlanders are much better. They are not as good looking though except for the brand new style

 

IIRC it's only the V6 models that are affected. I think they were offering a crazy warranty on them if something went bad though. There was something about a filter that would get plugged and cause the transmission to be starved of fluid.

Ugh, had s few minutes today to tear into the bike. I have one signal that wasn't working so I traced the wires to see why and wholly shiester Batman. The wiring for this bike has been hacked into more times than I care to share. Some of it I can follow like the kickstand switch override and the clutch switch override, the rest of it though... It's gonna take some studying or possibly a tear down and just rewire the damn thing myself just to make sure I don't have problems out on a trail or on the road.

That really sucks Mike!!!! Too bad they didn't cut into the wiring in intelligent spots like you did on my katana
