Yeah because putting a $400 bandaid lift on a $30k truck is soooo much better.

Ok as you can tell you are going to get multiple people that are antispacer and tons that have no issues.. its really up to you. I had spacers on my prerunner because it was a mallcrawler and the most offroad it saw was a dirt road here and there, state maintained. Now that i have a 4x4 and would like to do some offroading i will be doing a 5100 lift. The spacers and blocks i had were from Supreme suspensions and they were great. Easy to install and no issues out of them what so ever. Yes you can bottom out on them but if your not doing anything offroad or jumps, i wouldnt really worry about it. Dont jump train tracks or go full droop. For a gravel boat ramp i would say you are not really going to need an excessive lift kit that the offroad enthusiast would want.

Rather a a band aid than wrapping a dirty sock around it....

    Riiiiiight. :jerkoff:

If his suspension broke from hitting a pothole like you claim it would have broke without the spacers. Cool story though. I knew a guy who died because he put weak ass 5100's on his truck. The detectives determined that the 5100's caused the accident. See how easy that was for me to type? Lol

My uncles friends cousins aunt had a truck with a shitty 5100 bandaid lift and they all died because the suspension was so stiff she couldn't control it even though people on tacomaWorld claimed it's an awesome off-road setup.

Sorry forgot to add my lol

    Lol

Op please excuse my teenage vocabulary, I never graduated kindergarten. You should really take the advice of us on here saying to reconsider putting a spacer, they put a reasonable amount of stress on the suspension, uncomfortable ride, and as Justin stated. You could die.:D:bikewheelie:

I don't think k anyone here is saying directly that the 5100's are a GREAT LIFT or "awesome off road setup " as you say sir. I think we all simply agree it's a better route than spacers. With rhat said I have some deers to shoot. Out :turtleride:

And Mid-travel is better than that and long travel is better than that. That doesn't mean long travel is a better option for a guy that NEVER offroads.

To avoid the "dangers" of a spacer lift(lol) a spacer can be added to the lower bump stop to prevent the shock from bottoming out if you decide to jump the truck or hit some whoops. Nobody will crash and die. Problem solved.

110k+ miles on these spacers. Nobody has died. Funny thing is they have probably seen more off-road than a lot of these "serious off-roaders" on here.

$o you agree with us. Good. Problem solved spacers look and ride like shit. Nice band aid. I've been on mid travel for a while and love my nice smooth ride, and feel safe hitting the off roads. OP at minimum go with 5100's for the money... it's bettr4

Explain to me how spacers "ride like shit" compared to the 5100's you're pushing? You're just repeating rumors you heard on the Internet. :jerkoff:

My 5100's DAMN SURE didn't ride any better than before. They did leak all over after ~6 months of use though. I guess that's a plus.

    Yall are all wrong.

Body lifts are the best lift ever.

Spacers are second to body lifts.
