Search tool please! This topic has been beaten to death, both have the same QA standards cause they are managed by the same company and the same assembly process, parts, etc. I have owned both TX and Mexico versions and both are identical in quality and build.

I would rather have one built in San Antonio more so than Mexico.

My 2013 Pre Runner Limited was built in San Antonio.

Have not heard any problems with across the border ones.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I heard someone say once that we need to start to move away from the Made in (insert country) and start using Manufactured Globally for products made today. It is a global world and we're working together to make it what it is. This whole We make it better stuff is hardly valid anymore.

Other than the gauges being in metric and all the switch-gear labeling being in Spanish....I've not had any issues with mine. :notsure:

Quality should be the same however I hear that a few of the workers spit on the seats as a little present for the Gringos.

I doubt there will be any difference, honestly. It's just nice in a $40k truck to be able to say it was made in the US, IMO.

Which was a nice change from my 08 TRD sport seats that stained like a mofo that were supposedly "waterproof" softer, but I'll take the new seats durability.

San antonio is basically a little Mexico, therefor there is no difference in quality

Do you want a truck built by Mexicans in Mexico? Or by Mexicans in Texas?

Only diff I can see is the ones in Texas are most likely providing jobs to Americans. The plant in Mexico, not so much.
