What have I done to my Tacoma today? The dealer gave me a tube of this stuff with my Tacoma which I applied this morning. Whew! Seems to work well though and more than enough for a few more applications.

I've been googling..... A quick search.... Looks like the GMC is 4" longer and 4" higher (of similar cab variety). I'll agree with you....I don't want anything bigger.

LOL I think he can be delusional sometimes!! (but don't let him know I said that...).
I just did a bunch of googling on KBB looking at resale values & ratings. It's hard to compare older GMC's with 5 cylinder engines (WTF were they thinking?). According to Edmunds - they're not impressed with the GMC. The Tacoma and Nissan are similar in ratings & resale. I never liked the Frontier. I test drove one when shopping in 2007 and it just didn't impress (and I don't like the looks of it).

The 2016's should be in the lots when I take the truck in for frame replacement in Oct. I can drool over it and get details. I'm torn between waiting till spring and /or when the initial dust clears. But then again....I have two dealers that I want to visit. If they're willing to discount GREATLY....(Yea...good luck with that)....ya never know!?

Hauled a Liberty Revolution Safe home. Of course I took the tailgate off because it's already a little tweaked and I knew it would bend under even the light weight of this particular safe.

Installed my new All Pro "Pack Rack"...

Anyone in BC/Alberta I would highly recommend getting in touch with Cochrane Toyota for parts that are hard to find up here, a rep from the dealership that was heading to Kamloops on vacation threw this on top of his RTT and met me for delivery to cutout the shipping! :headbang:

    Yes.
I finished wiring up my 30" light bar in the lower grill. I still want to replace the actual switch, but this will do for now.

I also cut, soldered, and installed a set of custom bed lights. Cut to fit my Long Bed with the Toolbox in place. Wired these to the dome lamp inside, so when the interior light is on, so are the be lights.

Actually the lights made cleaning up the bed of my truck a lot easier. Especially since I waited for the sun to go down.
