Still interested in the NFAB steps. Need to find a buyer for my OEM black tube steps first though.

Hello Vegas peeps. Looks like I will be relocating to Summerlin by end of year. I have been out a few times for work, but also interested in some play! Being from Oregon, I hunt, fish, camp and Wheel. What are the option in LV area for these? Truck is a Sport LB, with ARB and BAMF Sliders(should be painted and welded on prior to move) and is definitely offroad capable!

Thanks, and I look forward to meeting some of you in the future!

Thanks Ryan, I have a hunting cabin in Oregon, so it would appear that I will be making a long drive every fall. Concealed carry and a new pistol will be happening soon after the move. My current 9mm is a pile of shit. I am pondering leaving the my rifles and shottys up here with my sister, and just having the pistols available. Maybe one of the .243's.

Are there water restrictions in effect? The houses I am looking at are getting a negative mark if they have real grass. I am bringing my mini Aussie with me so I need a spot for him to do his business, so I don't mind installing some fake grass for him. As this has been coming together, I have been soaking in the views of the forests, fields and all things green, as I recall from my last trip, there is not a lot of that there.

Is Lake Mead close? IE, within 100 or so miles? I do not own a boat, but being surrounded by rivers, streams and the ocean, I do like a good boat trip occasionally.

Thanks for the welcome! This is happening very fast for us, as I just found out Friday that they want me there by 12/1. Lot's of work to get this place ready, then to find a suitable house down there.

I have been advised to the cooling bills. That is the ONE thing wife and I are adamant about, is A/C, was we do not have it currently, and Portland has had about 30 days over 90 degrees. (I know, that is nothing for Vegas !!) Our last trip there in June it was 110+. I could not imagine NOT having A/C in that type of heat.

I was wondering if the drought has affected LV or not. Figured so, but thanks for confirmation. We are also looking for a place with a pool, if it is feasible.

I am looking at Summerlin North. My work is right by the hospital there. I have a 13 year old son who is a baseball junkie, so LV will be great for him! My old boss is still in the area, so he is keeping in the loop for upcoming season, training sessions, etc.

No they don't have an instagram page, I'm not sure why though.

Went out with them on a run to Delamar ghost town and a run to the gypsum cave up north a while back. Recently went on a night run up the north side of Wheeler's Pass and back down the same way. I have a weird schedule and can't make most runs they have scheduled, but they do have some members post up invites for unplanned runs on facebook. Great group of people.

I work IT for Capital One on N Town Center Drive. My site in Portland is closing, so they are relocating me to LV. I should be getting the final paperwork this week. Current house is a beehive of activity getting it ready for market. Amazing what you can accumulate in 12 years. Enough that I am bringing in an 8 Yard dumpster. I will be coming down lean and mean.:D

I agree on the Pahrump side, though I went south over the hump to Blue Diamond. Stopped along the way to check out Mountain Springs Saloon.

I'm still running on stock and the cold springs side is about the limit of what I'll do until I get some armor and a lift. Still pretty fun though.

I don't off road, but up North there is some spots etc. It's only 7 hours to Reno. Stay in one of the cheap casinos. Ely also is a good center point, lotta places I'm sure.

Yeah I grew up just north of Truckee. Tons of places up there and I try to get up there a few times a year to see the family.

You can hunt deer and elk 3 hours north around Pioche, and gets better further north toward Ely. There is rainbow trout and striper fishing south of Hoover Dam on the Colorado at Willow Beach on the AZ side. There is plenty of offroading pretty much any direction from Vegas.
