    got my truck broken into Friday night no damage but they took my satellite radio, a buck knife, camo hoodie, hand held gps, my owners Manuel, and work keys.
    well time to look into a console vault and a security system

    That's my plan. I'm going to get the tailgate and reinforcement line-x inside and out. Figured that's cheaper than getting a new tailgate that'll just get scratched up since I use my truck. At least the dents and crease won't be as noticeable with bed liner.

    Yes. It bolts into the vehicle itself. If you open your console and pull the carpet out (it is held by gravity alone) there are screws that hold the console to the floor. These are removed so you can screw the Console Vault into those holes.
