Add Right Toyota in Scottsdale AZ to the list. Got mine done yesterday on my '09. In spite of all the dealer's warnings about ride quality suffering, I don't notice a bit of difference. Definitely sits an inch or so higher in the rear though.

Got mine done at Stevinson Toyota East in Aurora CO. At first I thought they were giving me crap about it, but it turned out to just be some miscommunication between me and the initial service guy. But all in all they did a fine job and were incredibly nice about it all.

World Toyota in Chamblee (Atlanta), Georgia. It took 3 tries and then it was done for "safety stability concerns" of mine when bed was loaded.

FYI ... At first, the "Service Director" that I personally talked to said he knew nothing of this TSB and he would not even later return my phone calls.
One of the "Assistant Service Managers" knew all the details about the TSB and scheduled it right away and did a super job too.
I have owned over 20 Toyotas and was about to come unglued with this "Service Director" until the "Assis Service Mgr." got the job done.

FYI ... This is one TSB that you will be glad that you got ... :D

Galaxy Toyota in Eatontown, NJ. Called them up initially and told them i wanted it checked out for a noise nd harsh ride when carrying one or two dirt bikes in the bed. Brought it in one morning, explained the situation a little further regarding the noise, ride quality and bottoming out i was noticing (bump stop imprints on the frame), explained the concern for possibly havin the TSB performed and they took a closer look. He called me in about 30 mins later and told me there were going to do the TSB and that was that. Dropped it off a few days later and picked it up at the end of the day all done.

I just got the approval today on my 09 DC TRD Sport 4x4 3" lift. At first they said they didn't know if they could do it because of my lift. I have a 2" block in the back and told them you and I both know this block does not in any way effect the load capacity of this truck and they need to do it. It took a week to approve. The regional manager came to the shop from out of town for something and my service manager got the go ahead on my truck. So I will bring it in next week and have it done along with a new stereo due to some speaker static with the radio on or off, and I have a growling noise coming from the front end.

Just to be clear, if my 09 DC Taco prerunner has the five digits within this TSB I can get this done? Even though it says 05-08?

Went in with a copy of the TSB, no issues. Although they never called me when the parts arrived, I called them after a month to 'check in'? :) I wasn't in a hurry though.

Incredible service department. Went in with a copy of the TSB so that I didn't have to explain to much. Showed where the VIN and part numbers all matched in the defective parts of the TSB and the writer said he thought there would not be any problem. He spent a few days talking with people from regional toyota and then called and said he ordered the parts. Dropped it off early one morning, picked it up that afternoon. Even got a car wash.

    Once again, excellent Service department!

Trying to get the TSB done on my 09 tacoma along with a couple of other things: wiring for leer 100xq cap and 15k maintenance

so far the master mechanic told me i would have to talk to the manager - talked to the manager on friday and he said to call back monday and hopefully he will have heard back from his toyota rep on if they are extending the tsb to 09 vehicles.

called back today and he didn't hear back from his rep yet - so have to call again tomorrow.

wanted to give the dealer the chance to do stuff right - so i have held off calling the 1800 number and going over their head.

ill post an update when i have one

Toyota Carlsbad is doing my TSB on my 2010... My over all experience with this dealer is one of the best I have had. Got me a great deal on truck and is now doing my TSB without hassle.

Highly recommend them for service and sales.

Toyota West in Statesville, NC is scheduled to install the TSB in my truck Friday. Some confusion at first when I was talking to the lady who schedules service work. She said I had to bring in the truck for inspection, etc. I emailed someone in the service dept, stated I had already talked to folks at Toyota and received a call back shortly telling me parts were ordered. Hope all goes well. As far as I know I should be getting new springs and an alignment. If that's not all please let me know so I'll know what to expect after the job is completed. Thanks to all at Tacoma World.

just heard back from Baierl Toyota's service manager who finally heard back from his Toyota rep - apparently the TSB is going to be extended to the 09's or at least that is what the rep told him because they are going to do the TSB on my truck finally..

sounds like the TSB might be updated to include the 09's soon?? i hope

I bought my taco from them 2 days ago. It is a 06 with 79000 on it. Went in to day and asked them about it seems how it was a certified preowned. They thought I was talking about the squeaky one and I told them it is the harsh ride. They said they had never done one but bring it in and if my vin qualifies they will get my stuff on order for me. Will see how it goes tomorrow when I take it in. Wonder if I should wash it been rainging here and went to go and play. Should probally wash it don't want to give a reason to tell me no.

I had to first talk to the service dept. They stated there was no TSBs and had never heard of any problems with the rear springs. ( They said the same thing about the radio ) After researching found out about the TSB but was only for 05-08. But my vin and part numbers matched the TSB. So took it to the next level of the Customer Service Manager. He agreed that it should be covered, but of coarse had to speak with the Service Dept manager. He did mention about contacting Toyota Corporation to complain. So I called toyota corp and just told her about my harsh ride. She stated no problem, there is a TSB on it already. Just contact the service dept and they will arrange it to be fixed, received a case number. Contacted the customer service manager, advised i had a case number. He called me back and stated the service manager wanted me to put about 600 lbs in the bed and bring it in to be inspected. I told them i was not about to waste my time or money to have them inspect the truck for a problem that has been known for the last 4 years and already has a TSB issued on it. So next the customer service manager said the service manager wanted to speak with me before approving the TSB. He proceed to give me the TSB will give me a stiff ride and he cant change the springs back once done. I told him i bought a truck, not a lexus. So after having to do all of this for over a weeks time, they finally ordered the parts and i got the TSB done. When i had the TSB done , i told them i wanted the sheet from the alignment. i got handed a sheet with some hand written numbers filled in. Was advised the tech forgot to print it. Of coarse, a week later i got some duratracs put on and had goodyear do another alignment, the alignment was bad from this dealer. if it was done at all.

NORTHTOWN TOYOTA OF BUFFALO SUCKS !!!!!
When i had them check the radio, they reinstalled it with only 2 of the four screws. I had to argue with them to order a new radio for a known problem. wanted me to bring it back on the occasions it stop working??
It was total bullshit what i had to go through to get the TSB done. This is my eighth toyota, customer loyality, customer satisfaction. Unfortunatly, Northtown was the only dealer that had the truck i was looking for. So this is the first and last time i will ever deal with them.

They did the TSB, But take my advise
Do Not give your business to Northtown Toyota
Not only have they lost all of the business they could of had from my truck, I probabably would of taken my wifes toyota van there also.

this is the only toyota dealer i have ever had something bad to say about.

Just returned from having the TSB installed. Great experience at this dealership. Parts were ordered based on an email and phone call. I was in and out in about 2 1/2 hours. I measured my fender height before having the TSB installed and again after completion with the truck parked in the same place. Raised the height 1 inch only so I don't see a need to put shocks on the front to raise it, at least not in the near future. I had about an hour drive home from the dealership. Ride may have been a little stiffer but barely noticeable. I'll be towing my trailer later today and hope to tell a difference there.
