ARB lockers and 4.88s front and rear, OME 886s, Dakars, etc., Safari Snorkel, 17"Fuel Revolvers w/ 35x12.50r17 KM2s, fenders cut 3" all around, Pioneer AVH-P4400BH w/ Backup cam, CB/PA (PA Installed), Weathertech Digis, Foglight anytime, AP: front bumper, skids, and pack rack, custom sliders, Warn 9.5XP, dual VIAIR 480Cs with a 2.5gal tank, OTRATTW switches galore, URD y-pipe, RCI skids, LF 240s, etc.
Hey @traxman25 (in regards to the 2nd gen cage) What is the geometry of the cage behind the rear seats? And with the b-pillar portion, would there be enough room to add some cross-reinforcements without interfering with the front seats? Also, would it be possible to order a bolt-together kit that went straight through the dash? I love y'all's design, but I would greatly appreciate the added structural rigidity

The cage is tucked in very tightly to the cab behind the rear seats. It basically follows the back wall.

You could add a harness bar to the B-pillar. Depending on how far back you slide your seats you may need a bar that is bent to allow room for the seats to slide back. We kept the B-pillar forward to keep as much leg room in the back seats as possible.

Sorry, through the dash cages are a custom install, we are not able to offer them as a bolt in kit. If you'd like to do a through the dash mod please call and we'll get you set up. There is a slight additional charge for the design time and tracking the custom kit through the build process.

have any pics of through the dash cage? interested but not won over by the front of the cage going that far away from the dash, also do you guys have cross members that would run width wise of the dash so it doesn't buckle? or an v configuration in the windshield?

Sorry no pics of through the dash. A dash bar on a cage for the 02 Tacoma, or for any cage that is through the dash would be something we would need the truck here in our shop for.

We don't do windshield bars at all. They are not legal on road.

Yes one could be fabricated. We would need your truck here at our shop to do so. I don't have a regular cab.

No. You might be able to add them but you probably would not be able to keep the seats. You certainly would not be able to keep the storage compartments behind the seats. This is not a design flaw with our cage, this is a space constraint with the way all pickup cabs are designed. I've not run into one ex cab or double cab that had enough room behind the seat.

Looking great Andy, thanks for posting up.

Zac, no problem then. Lots of people still use them so it is something we have to be aware of.

Our production cages are only for the double cab. We would be happy to build you a custom cage in your truck if you'd like to bring your truck to our shop. We could talk about a deal for letting us develop a kit with your truck.

Give us a call, we can set you up. The kit isn't on our website because it isn't as finished as a normal kit and we need to talk through what's involved to be sure you know what you're getting. It isn't a big deal, just don't want any surprises.

Any chance I could get a quote for an internal cage for a 2002 extra cab, but designed to all me to still use my sun roof? Or should I order the kit and fab it out myself?

Sorry I don't have a Tacoma with a sunroof to be able to see how a cage kit will fit with a sun roof.

No we do not offer bolt in cage kits any longer. All kits are weld in only.

right on man, i think i would just have to do something like this (please excuse my terrible 30 second photoshop)

Do you think this would lessen the structural integrity to the point I should be worried?
