Soooo....I've come across a set of wheels for a really good price. They are the pro comp Le Paz in a 16x8 4.5" backspace with a -6 offset.

My current wheel on the truck is the factory Toyota 3 spoke (2004 Tacoma) with a spider trax 1.25" spacer.

My one and only question is, if I get rid of the wheel spacers, are these new wheels going to stick out further than my current setup?

I'm not 100% sure what the factory offset and backs pacing is on the original wheels, so that's where I'm getting stuck.

Anyone care to help out!!? Thanks :D

Edit, I believe the new wheels are a 6 offset not -6.

It's hard to say without knowing the original size and offset, but the offset of your new wheel is 0, meaning the hub surface is centered of the wheel.

If you measure from the hub to the farthest outside part of you current wheel you can determine if the new wheel will stick out more.

The new wheel will be exactly 4.5" from the hub surface to the farthest outside surface of the wheel.

Measure the current wheel with the spacer to determine how far from the hub surface to the outside of the wheel. If it's less than 4.5" your new wheel will stick out farther.

As of right now, butting a tape measure into the brake drum, to the outside lip of the wheel I have about 4 3/4". So if I understand this correct....my new wheel, WITHOUT the spacer on should sit about 1/4" inward from my current setup?
