So I just realized that I have assembled my 887s with the coil seat upside down. I was wondering why I wasn't achieving the desired lift I was expecting. The rubber spacer on top of my coil seemed to be pushing out and it just didn't look right. I've had it in and driving it for a few days now, I hope I haven't damaged anything.

Thanks @Jiveydude ! I've jotted the part numbers down for future reference, but I think I'll just leave it be for now.

Coil seat doesn't look upside down to me but it's kinda hard to see on my phone screen

Damn and the narrower end of the coil is designed to rest in the coil seat, and I have that upside down too. Hopefully that narrower end hasn't torn up that rubber top plate spacer too much. I've already driven the truck for a few days.

Save the money and do it yourself! Not sure about the AAL (I installed Dakars), but the front wasn't bad at all. I used the floor Jack method to compress the 887s and it worked really well!

Aal is easy to install as long as you have stands to lift you high enough to fully droop the leaf springs. Standard height stands are not high enough.

Thinking I may go 887's....Having a hard time adjusting to the extreme rake (IMHO).

Lift has been on about for about 3 weeks and I only have about 2.4 -2.5 inches of lift in the front: Full OME, 885x, trim packer, and 1/4" spacers. Dakar's in back. I don't mind a little bit of rake (I actually expected it with the Dakar's, but I'm almost 2.5" of rake)

I know I can take out a leaf, but not sure I want to do that just yet. I like the height. Plus a like more up front will help my 285's - even though I only run on the Cab mount at almost full lock.

That's more rake than I'd expect but then again those Dakars run pretty high.

Thats interesting.... mine took a while to settle on my truck about 2-3 months.. but only settled 1/2 inch.. I would say weigh down the bed for a while to help it settle.. could also go to a 10mm spacer up front

I have thought about that. The spacer was my initial thought, but figured if I had to take the strut assembly apart, might as well do 887's
