Called Insurance company to report it. Told me that they would most likely total it. I'll find out today.
    Thanks for the prayers

You can't take any part of a game animal without a license, it's considered poaching. Fish and Game will probably cut the antlers off and either take the body to the landfill or they'll haul it into the wilderness to decompose naturally.

Anyway's hope your truck isn't totalled or you get enough back to get into a newer 2nd gen!

Already got a 2015 yesterday. It was a demo. Saved 4k it's just like my 05 just has the new radio. Has e-locker and 120v plug in bed just like my 05

If you were allowed to cut off antlers people would be putting on plows and mowing deer over.

Here in Montana the FWP takes road kill game to local shelters to be eaten by homeless.

For roadkill the meat is usually destroyed. If they catch people that have poached the meat will either go to an Indian tribe or to a food bank.

Wow. Nearly $15k for a ten year old truck. If that's their first offer you should ask for more! :)

EDIT: According to KBB.org a 4x4 DCSB Off-Road w/120k miles should fetch $15,119 here in Montana if in "Very Good" condition (private party sale). So I guess their offer isn't really bad at all.

Question is: Will you buy another Taco? And will it be a 15 or 16? :)
