Hi all, I'm still trying to find some things that need replaced on my 2008 Trd Tacoma 4-door 4wd.... My climate control knobs are pretty rough, it works fine just need the knobs... Looks like whoever had it before had a dog or something... Just thought I'd try and update things I need as I go.

I've only had it 6-7 months and still trying to make it new again.... I'm definitely interested in other upgrades too!!! If you got something good you're willing to part with, let me know! Thanks in advance!

Looks like your only options for "Climate Control Knob(s)" replacement are one of the following:

1.) Tacoma World Forum Market place
2.) Ebay
3.) Craigslist
4.) Junkyards
5.) Dealership

Ya I've looked online for them and not having much luck, gonna try junkyards but I doubt they have much...how much you wanting for it Steve?

Once you get an original replacement Climate Control assembly, removing the "beat up old one" and installing the "much better one" is easy and quick!
Click on the link given below and on the very first (#1) post there is a video, concerning an installation of a different product but the beginning of the video shows how easy it is to remove that entire particular section of the Climate Control assembly. Just follow that as a guide?

Good luck restoring your interior. Do you have any pics of it, by the way? I'm curious to this previous owner damage you speak of, not to mention I've never heard of worn climate control knobs.

 

I know it's weird... I'll try to post pics in a few. I said it looked like whoever had it before must have had a hook for a hand lol

 

Wow, that's a first! Looks like that is all that's bad. While you're replacing, you could probably get a black set from a newer model if you like. I plan to swap the lower port panel to the newer ones to get the extra functionality.

 

I'm sure I'll start doing stuff like that soon,just trying to do some quick easy fixes for now till I decide what I really want. There's so much to upgrade I dunno where to start haha...
