Rotopax Tacoma/Nissan Mount

So I ordered the mount through Rotopax's Ebay site for 26.99 just the mount. And after it came today all that was in the envelope was one bolt, and one bed rail slide. Now they have not responded to my emails of getting a tracking number or anything. SERIOUSLY WTF.

 

This plate is what you need. $27 for a nut and bolt is a ripoff. What was advertised in the eBay listing?

Wow, WTF. That listing is a mess. There are pictures of items not included in the sale.
Since the listing is by Rotopax, you should be able to contact them directly. If not, file a claim with eBay/PayPal.

 

I just called them outright, they are sending the actual mount out today they say. And are very sorry for the mix up. I said lady the envelope is a 3x4 size envelope. There is no way a plate that big would fit in that small envelope. Who does your final quality control on shipped items? Anyway supposed to go out today we shall see.

If it was any other vendor, I would have assumed that they hit you with the old eBay bait-and-switch.

Sarah of Boss 4x4 is working my issue. One plate was missing. I ordered two, plus two locking mounts and two extenders.

 

Was there a packing list in the box with the rest of your stuff? Or was it all just tossed in a box? I should have paid more attention to their eBay feedback. Even though it was 99.4 there were 8 negatives received recently for stuff not showing up and such.

 

Yeah you got to watch eBay people. I don't buy from anyone with less than 99% unless its something I really really need and their recent feedback is great. One time bought from a guy with 97% and his recent feedback was god awful. Fucker went MIA and closed his eBay store as soon as he shipped my shit after I pestered him about it.

 

Yeah I know brother my testing is 100% at almost a 1,000 purchases and sales. 99.4 thought I was pretty safe on that one. Sad part is ids in the small envelope was a packing list for the mount and bolts. Yet I just got the one bolt, and rail attachment. Great quality control at that place.

 

Appears that item is now on sale for $22.91. Think they would honor that price with you, considering the hassle?

 

Yeah right they gave me a hard enough time telling me my mount was here. I had to fight with them to get a tracking number

 

Mine was just loose in a box. No packing list. Mine was in a GB buy here, not sure if we are talking same deal.

 

All my stuff is coming directly from Rotopax, your group buy was from Boss 4x4 different place. But I don't give a shit who it is from, there is a list of what you bought. And it should be picked and checked off after being put in a box. Obviously this company doesn't give a shit either, just the money.

 

I believe my group buy order from Boss 4x4 is coming directly from Rotopax. I'll know when I receive the package, but the tracking shows it coming from Logan, UT.
