I have noticed many people put a light bar above their cab and was wondering if it really helps. I had a spot light on my friends truck basically blind me because of the reflection on the hood, is this an issue with the LED lights on the roof? Considering them just as a flood light as I will be putting hella 700ffs in the front mounted to the bumper.

Theres certainly some hood glare involved, worse on light color trucks than dark

Its bad... but you adjust to it and it puts out crazy amounts of light since nothing is hindering any of it! Great for lighting up a valley, bad for driving in dust..

Or put a deflector under the light (there's at least one member making them). Blacking out your hood like Camel Trophy trucks helps but you still get spillage on your windshield. Personally I prefer lights with more throw up high and the wider spread lights on the front.
