I'm curious what you guys think about the OU v. Tennessee and Oregon vs MSU match-ups this week.

    lulz.

Henry wore 2 in high school. DeAndrew White wore it last year on offense, so it wasn't available to him. I couldn't tell you what the significance of the number is to him.

I'm hoping OU comes into Neyland and beats the brakes off of Butch. I've heard so much trash talk from Vol fans since they beat Bowling Green.

Yes you do but I believe good days are ahead. Maybe not this year but once Harbaugh gets his guys there they should be pretty competitive. Shit he turned 2-8 with no fanbase stanford into a powerhouse so turning around Michigan should be easy!

Because they beat possibly one of the worst Texas teams in history. Makes sense.

And, I'm with Rhion...I hope OU blows UTs doors off.

Tennessee wins by two touchdowns. Michigan State wins by a field goal.

EDIT: Originally said OU wins by two touchdowns. Meant to put Tennessee.

ULM is/was probably a tougher opponent than Texas. Yet ND jumps us in the polls and I keep hearing how we played a cream puff, which we did. But history has too much influence on voters IMO. Just because they beat Texas, but Texas ain't what they used to be yet voters still have it ingrained in their heads from the history of teams rather than what they've done lately. But don't take this as a rant because it's too early to put any stock in the polls. It's just how I see things.

Also thought it was funny, one of the OL from Vandy, when asked about Nick Chubb, said "I'd rather have Ralph Webb (Vandy RB)." I understand you want to stand behind your guy....but if you're asked about another team's RB you can say "He's tough to bring down..." "He's a great player..." etc, etc. Instead, you give Chubb a reason to go off for 200+ on your defense...

I get it. He's got to stand by his guy. He could have definitely answered better but I don't see any issues there. What if he said that he would have rather had chubb? Could cause locker room issues. And honestly I think Georgia will be so far ahead of vandy after the first half that chubb won't see the field in the second half.

I totally get standing behind your RB. But why give one of the best RBs in the nation another excuse to run all over you? I honestly don't think Chubb is the kind of guy to say "Yea...give me the ball 25 times so I can show this guy..." He'll go out and do his job, score, and get off the field. If it were me, the egotistical asshole that I am, I would want the ball every play.
