    23?,??? And between you and I the engine isn't locked up. I put a wrench on the crank and it turned. It also had a lot of oil in the intake and coolant in the oil. So reguardless I would still have to rebuild the engine. I might as well just throw the 3.4L in.

    HAHAHAHA! Yeah well "F" it. Plus @lotsoftoys or @thefatkid would of figure it out and called me out on it. :p so I might of well let the cat out of the bag now. I've been thinking about what you said. About just to help with cost now, get the motor and 4x4 transmission with transfer case. Just run 2wd until I get the other stuff. It seems like it will save a lot of down time because my wife wants this truck up and running ASAP.

    I talked to Yoda Jim today and he said all the 3.4l motors are the same. Is there a way you can tell if it is 02 or newer? I don't need any issues when it's time to smog.

    And I pulled this out.

    (Starter, alternator, powersteering pump, a/c Compressor, ect)

    That alternator and power steering are not close to the same. Not sure about the A/C compressor.
