You don't have to pay it if you say "I don't want to pay that", or you they never even try to make you pay it?

Some are charging it, some aren't. They may tell you they will get sued if they don't charge you for it. It's an effing joke. Tell them to call their lawyers because you aren't paying it if they try to make you pay it

Tell them you know about Holdback. Holdback is 2% of Base MSRP at Toyota. Some dealers will insist it doesn't exist. Some salesman truly don't know it exists because the dealership gets the check each quarter straight from Toyota. If the best deal you can find is 500 under MSRP, you tell them you will buy from the dealership that takes 2% of Base MSRP off because you know they will get it back at the end of the quarter. Tell them this. They think you don't know about it. They also think you don't know the maximum amount for doc fees. If they exceed it in your state, that's fraud. Tell them this if it happens. They will probably help you out in hopes that you don't get mad and start telling everyone on Yelp about holdback!

This is why I research everything, all the time.

I was planning on bringing a shirt that says, "Toyota Holdback is 2% and wearing it under a sweatshirt. If they ask you to leave after talking about holdback, take off the sweater and walk out..... forthelolz

Does anybody know what the "3E - Graphic (Hood) - $ 85 | $ 129" is? Is it some sticker on the hood? Or maybe an option to get the hood scoop on a non-Sport?

We have not got an answer on the hood graphic yet, but I'm sure it's not the hood scoop. That is a completely different hood.

It is in the accessories catalog. It is a stupid looking decal that surrounds the sides and back of the hood scoop. The catalog was posted somewhere on these forums. I am on my phone and it sucks to look for specific things on these forums on it.

I dont believe any of those numbers ^^ Invoice numbers are inflated and intentionally leaked to make all of us stupid car buyers believe that is their true cost. You can buy half of that crap (accessories) at friggen pep boys for a fraction of the cost. You don't think that Toyota is able to negotiate sweet deals for themselves. If you think they are really paying $579 for a tonneau cover when they are buying thousands of them.... then I have a bridge to sell you. Or the chrome tip at $70 cost? lol

In the old days, they used to teach car salesmen to write numbers down on a piece of paper while speaking to you. Circling those numbers so you can see it. A bit of a mind fuck. Well, these invoice prices that show up everywhere (Edmonds, Cars.com, etc) are nothing more than a virtual salesman circling a number on a piece of paper.... but then showing it to millions of people at once.

Dealers are going to sell you the car for invoice because they are still making money. If they don't, then it is a vehicle that is in high demand.

You have to remember that those prices include installation and labor is expensive.
