I bet haha! I heard a loud snap taking it off the trailer figuring it was the ramps banging on my driveway. Nope, was the crossmember finally giving way

I had it and deleted it, then reactivated it but I rarely post shit. I mainly use it for upload a picture or super secret meet info lol.

Thanks Chase! Yeah alot of blood and sweat went into it along with money. Don't have too much planned for this truck in the near future other than maintenance and using it for towing around my other projects. One day when it's an old trail raisin it will get a SAS.

Well my fridge wasn't staying on very long so I went to investigate and found my aux battery at 10 volts. I charge it and my charger gave me an error code of open cell. Tried this a few times then returned it, luckily I was a month left in the 3 year warranty. So no I have a new aux battery. Here's my charging station topping off the new battery and main one.

Also picked up a driveshaft from Craigslist find. Can never have enough spares right? :D

Went on a road trip down to VA for the weekend to watch another fellow TW member tie the knot. Stopped a few places along the way to do some camping and Kayaking.

    Camp setup the first night:

We also got to meet up with @ckeene9 and Lauren on the way from Richmond to Harpers Ferry which cool since they lived so close to where we were staying. We talked wheeling and BSd for an hour or so and then we headed up to Harpers Ferry.

Camping the second night at Harpers Ferry

Stopped at Mad Horse brewery for a bite to eat and some beers before heading home

On the way home noticed a weird sound (granted my truck makes alot of weird sounds, but this was a new one). It was related to wheel speed but made no difference if I was in hi/low gear in the transfer case or crawl box or what gear I was in for the transmission. It would only make the noise on acceleration or when I had the gas pressed to maintain engine under load and the frequency of the noise increased as the vehicle speed increased. From the sound of it, it sounded like a u-joint but I crawled under and checked and everything was tight there. I then set my truck to 2000 rpm on cruise control and Jay used his metronome and counted the frequency of the noise and I calculated the axle shaft speed at 2000 engine RPM, our conclusion was that it had to be in the ring gear. I know, sounds complicated but we had a 3 hour ride back and were bored so we let the minds wander lol. Took it apart today and sure enough:

I will contact ECGS to see about the warranty and getting it fixed up. Glad I caught it in time, could have been alot worse if those ring gear teeth got chipped any more.

Yeah originally we were just planning on driving down for the wedding but then kind of made a last minute decision to camp and kayak. Next time I plan on heading down I will def hit you up!

    Never ending cycle lol

Thanks, glad I caught it before it completely blew out and I got stuck on the side of the road.

No, we told Hunter we were hanging at your house this weekend, he didn't stop by?

Watch out you have the dreaded elocker too LOL.

Indeed man, hope to catch up again for some fall wheeling!

On a good note, spoke with Chase this morning and I'll be mailing my diff back in today and he's taking care of it, ECGS has some great customer service

New diff is in. Just have to go through the break in process now. Greased to driveshaft, shackles bushings, and UCAs while I was under the truck.
