    You divide the invoice price by the msrp listed on the page will the full list of prices.

    wat. Are you talking about the regional sales centers? What fleet is holding Toyotas as a distributor?

    Toyota Dealer Advertising Fee. It's BS and not real. If they are charging you 600 dollars for advertising, they aren't advertising effectively

    The whole thing is probably broken down in sections. So Gulf States Toyota and South East Toyota are the regional distributors in thier respective markets. They actually are different then toyota. Separate ownership completely. The other areas are toyota owned regions. I would imagine they are actually separate companies and need to show a profit just like the plant and dealers do. At least if I were Mr. Toyoda thats how I would do it.

    ppo is port installed options. each region does holdback differently. hell the invoice on items in my region is slightly higher than Toyota's invoice pricing. CF is $179 MSRP but Kansas city region invoice is $149, and Toyota invoice is $119.

    so even the regional port is charging the dealer more than what Toyota is charging the regional.

    Code:
    Toyota --> Regional Port --> Dealer
    $119   --> $149          --> $179

    I sure do, lighter color so the truck won't get as hot, and it will hide a lot of dirt...

    New motor so what? Numbers are almost the same and that along with durability is what counts. If Toyota is going to put a new motor in then lets see 300+ hp and torgue. Lots of cars out there have equal to or better numbers than the new Tacoma. Interior changed but so what. Is it better? I see nothing here that is worth paying any where near MSRP for. My last 2 Tacomas I paid 10 - 15% less than MSRP. Oh and they added some features to the Limited. Whoop de do. I would never buy a Limited anyway.

    How is ~15% more HP "almost the same" Yes, the torque is almost the same. The new automatic is probably as or more important to the performance.
    According to reviews, yes the interior is much better. Supposed to be more quiet also.
    Most people who put any effort at all into purchasing this truck right now will not be paying MSRP. Invoice or $500 over invoice seems to be most common.

    Its fine if people don't like the Gen3 but, making stuff up to fit ones feelings doesn't make your point more valid.

    Does the new tranny have a dipstick? I am just disappointed with the torque number in particular. Most mid size cars have as much or more and no Homelink or electric rear slider. Heck my 2004 Sportrac had a electric rear slider. Gives us stuff that is not easily fixed on the aftermarket. I can go to at least 10 places on Dallas for a tonneau cover.

    Which mid-sized trucks have over 300 hp and 300 lb ft of torque?
