Anyone want to join me in Bridgeport tomorrow? I need a shakedown run on my truck before Fallout.

I just got my truck back from the collision center. Did you get anyone to join, or did you end up going yesterday?

So, my in laws are staying with us next month, and we need some ideas for places to take them. Problem is, we're so new here we don't really know the area. Any ideas?

    Red neck heaven is fun.
If your in-laws are like mine, taking them to that place would pretty much guarantee they would never go to dinner with me again.

They're pretty conservative, and they've never been to Texas before. I'd hate to enforce the stereotype, ya know? Besides, I get along great with em.

Just look at the build thread
I would suggest against going to Redneck Heaven. Bad things happen when you go there :spy:

The art museums are surprisingly good here if you're into that sort of thing. The breweries if they like beer. That's what I've learned in my 6 months here.

They're diehard mormon, so no breweries. But I figured we'd hit the Kimbal, Sundance square, stockyards, etc

The Amon Carter is a solid stop as well, one of the bigger collections of American West art and no admission.

I think you have Redneck Heaven confused with Twin Peaks. Unless he is looking for an authentic Old West shoot-out.

That's a little different. I don't think he wants to go bracelet shopping with his in-law's. Why not just take them to Rick's Cabaret? Decent dinner menu, always have the game on, and guaranteed to have something to watch.

Got my truck back from the DFW Collision Center - Grapevine yesterday. Supposedly, they do all the work for Texas Toyota of Grapevine and even used to be owned by the dealership. I'm very disappointed in the quality of their work. I have a full page of stuff that they need to "fix" that was supposed to be fixed already. Just two examples...the front bumper has about a half inch to an inch of play in it, and the rear bumper doesn't line up at all. I can fit 4 fingers between the rear bumper and the driver side taillight, and about half a pinky between the bumper and the passenger side taillight.

I am scheduled to drop it back off on Monday for them to take another look, but I'm not too confident in their ability at this point...
