This led to me researching titanium grades, and therefore learning. Bottle openers are making me smarter.

    I do what I can!!

The key value to a bottle opener is the modulus of elasticity…basically how much it will bend before permanently bending and not springing back

Titanium vs steel, even stainless steel is far superior in every way!! Also that is why they can be so thin and light….Titanium…metal of the GODs

    Got mine yesterday @Paint pig!

Will get some good shots (hopefully) by the weekend.. lot of stuff going on this week. I will mention that it arrived in a USPS bag as opposed to an envelope, with a huge label saying the original packaging was badly damaged in transit - which I think was mentioned in the beginning as a fairly common occurrence. The workmanship is great, I can't wait to use it.

Any thoughts on attempting to heat anodize?

The package nightmare I thought was fixed but I guess not...more bubble wrap it is!

Heat anodize - take a blow torch( Propane, butane) and have fun....really nice blues can be achieved and almost any color on the spectrum given enough patience.

Be careful and don't burn yourself!!

Sweet. Hadn't looked into see what temps yield what colors and what was possible to achieve with a propane blow torch. I have access to a MAPP gas torch if needed.. now I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks again man.. I'll be in contact when I go to post the info for you on IG.
