    a core? I'm confused. Typically you order it through him and pay he sends you the shifter then you install it and send the stock unit back. If you bought the TRD yourself I am sure you can send it to him, but I am not sure what the pricing would be if you don't plan to send him your stock one back or if he's just doing work on something you bought.

    Exactly, he is well known in the X runner community for making custom parts for us; short shifters, oil pans, oil pan spacers, shift knobs, battery tie downs, air intake covers etc.. I know he does some stuff for TW too.
